They lost my test results. And while trying to explain the issue, the representative didn’t make an effort to understand and hung up.
Ordered several blood tests online. Easy to navigate their website, order tests, and (optionally, but highly recommend) schedule appointment to have blood drawn near my home. The facility employee drawing the bloodwork was very friendly and professional. Costs of the tests were very reasonable, and the results were available on their website in 2 business days. I did not need to contact customer service, but their email communication of what to do next after ordering tests was excellent. In summary: a cost effective, convenient way to get my lab work done without involving my physician. After my initial experience I have since ordered additional blood tests.
I order some test by phone because was my first time, I ask how long will take for results and they said 1 to 3 days I want to be sure because I have Dr appointment
that cost $375 and not cover with insurance they said 1 to 3 days, 2 days later 3 test from my list where pending, I call and now they said those particular test will take 5 to 10 days, so I will need to pay 2 times for Dr. visit because the give the wrong information.
Their customer service, specifically the rep Tamara, is the worst I've ever experienced. I contacted customer service to see why my results were still not available 2 weeks later. She blamed it on me, which made absolutely no sense. I was really confused. She never actually helped me determine when I could expect my results. She was extremely rude, going as far as typing in all caps and saying that she is irritated. I had to ask to speak to a different customer service rep who said that what Tamara said wasn't true, the lab was just taking a bit longer than usual, and I could expect my results early next week. My lab tech told me about this company and I've gone through them twice for labs that may or may not be paid by insurance (timing, etc.) The discounts on tests are amazing. I get the results through the Ultalab webite and then they show up on my Quest portal several days later so I can do trending. I can have my thyroid and cholesterol checked as frequently as I want instead of waiting the requite number of months/years for insurance to pay. I've always used the Quest lab in Nacogdoches, Texas. It is horrible service!!!. I am giving them NO STAR!!! Avoid it and go other place else. I took my mother to get blood test and they sent the blood to their 3rd party place late, so they couldn't perform blood test. They never called me to inform unless you call them and let them know. I took my mom 2nd time and specific mention about their problem to the technician and office manager that they have to send it on time to make sure it is arrived to their test in CA in 24 hrs. Again they didn't send them on time!!! So they told me to take my dementia 75+ mother to get the blood test again for 3rd time for their stupid mistake and cooperation without full refund.
