We signed our contract in January 2023 and explained we were having company in May. “Oh, this is only a three day project“. Delays began with obtaining permit; wrong pan ordered due to incorrect measurement; wrong size door ordered & installed (3/4 size) that had to be reordered & replaced. Had to wait several more weeks for the installer to finish job he was on. Finished project in September 2023 - NINE months late! Do not recommend this company!!
Bath Planet promises are not to be trusted. This week we spent over four hours discussing our bathroom remodeling plans with a Bath Planet agent. We picked all the features and attachments we wanted. The agent quoted us a price. It was a little bit more than we were first wanting to pay. We told him we needed to think about it. He said he had several specials to lower the price. Even with the new price we still told him we needed to think about it. He said he wanted to call his manager and walked outside and when he came back he offered significant savings. I wish I would never had this done, In oct of 22 we had an install done walk in shower, the guy they sent was fired and did not complete the jod finally 3 months later another man came and finished it. it leaked on my floor, so this sat 2-25-23 a fella came and recalked it on 2-27-23 still leaking . now going into march and still not fixed. It is gonna rot my floor. it is the only bath in house. they took 1,000 off my bill but that does not begin. to cover the hastle. they do a bad job if you ask me. they get a 0 rateing from me
We needed an affordable solution for replacing our old, well-water-stained, broken, jet tub that was in the house when we purchased it, and the tile surrounding it which was beginning to lose grout, have mold issues, and in general was just not an attractive color/style. We got quotes from a few similar bath/shower remodel companies and Bath Planet was the most affordable with the most style/design choice options for the price. Overall we are pleased that the finished product is far better, sleeker, and easier to clean than what we had in place before. However, my recommendation of their company comes with some caveats. Called to get an estimate for an extensive bathroom remodel in waterfront home. When confirming, I said that my wife could not be here, but I would meet with them. Was told that "their policy" is that both homeowners must be there. I explained that are very busy professionals, but they were adamant about their policy. Apparently, they don't need the business. Moving on to customer focused contractors. Wife is realtor - Bath Planet will never get a positive reference from her firm.
