Resume.io is resume builder is designed to help applicants build a professional looking resume quickly and easily. To save more time creating a Job-worthy resume, the company developed a 3-step resume builder that helps applicants overcome writer’s block and formatting difficulties.

Six professionally designed templates are available to choose from. Each template was carefully structured to follow the “resume rules” most employers and hiring managers to look for. Resume.io free services also allow applicants to create their first resume.

Resume.io is an online self-service resume builder which offers resume template designs. It also resumes content writing tips and recommended resume structures. All resumes remain private and can only be accessed by the registered client. Resume files can be exported in .PDF or .TXT formats. Customers can download their resume without any fees required in .TXT format only.

For customers to access the company’s resume templates, they must first register as a premium member. Premium accounts are given full access to all of Resume.io’s premium features including the ability to download in PDF format and access to its 6 resume template designs. In case a customer wishes to delete their account, they can login in to their account and click “delete my account”. Their account will be deleted, and any active subscriptions will be canceled.

This company is a scam, be careful. I started making a "Free" resume with them and at the end it tried to charge me 7.95 to download it as a pdf. Absolute scam, don't trust them

A scam. They didn't mention beforehand that you have to pay before download. They call it free trial but it cost you 2.95 USD. Not refundable. When I reach out for customer service, there is no response. I will ask my bank to cancel this service immediately.

I created my resume and got to save it in a couple different formats. It was quick and easy but I was unaware that they automatically charge your card after the 2.95 one week trial for a month when the week is up so be sure to cancel if you do not want it reoccurring. I emailed the company and spoke with Michael explaining my problem and he said they will refund the one month trial.

Never trust and never recommend this site to anyone. They have taken money from my bank card without permission like thieves. I bought just 7 days trial subscription but after taking money they said my subscription was prolonged automatically although I didn't have any plans to use this service. Be careful and never trust these cheaters anymore

These people are scams. There was no mention that they would be charging my account monthly after the 7 day trial which I paid for. They charged me $40.00 CAD for a site I used once. I asked for a refund and they told me they wouldn't provide it because of some random policy that they also failed to mention. No emails were sent, my card was just charged. I will never use this site again and hope they go bankrupt.

I am totally agreed with kaitlyn and the rest ,the company are technically ripping off with their sly. I have fallen as well to their appeared free trial but upon trying to download our resume after spending hours making it they requested 2.95 usd which like it or not u have to comply to make ur effort worth... Out of the blue u are subscribed unless u stopped..and it was never clearly mentioned it will monthly for 19.95 USD... Once a person overlooked he or she will be poorer in no time by 22USD... It may not meant very much to them but USD 20 can provide a household meal for few days for the rest of the world... try to avoid resume.io

Simple UI and overall pretty good product, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. I was billed for a subscription I did not subscribe to, contacted support immediately and they’ve refused to reply me or make refunds.

This was so stupid. I thought it was a site for a free resume builder, instead they are charging me $2.95. HUGE WASTE OF TIME!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

They're so awful that I can't wait to write this. Other reviews are correct: the site's payment is unclear. I paid for 7 days unlimited access for $2.95; during that time, I downloaded one resume template and one cover letter template. Two months later, I'm calling and emailing them about $40 they've charged me. They "graciously" cancel the "subscription" for me, but that's it. If you want to actually download the resume you probably spent a very long time completing (turns out it's NOT a free service as advertised,) they have a 7 day trial (which costs $2.95 to begin with..?) after 7 days, they just start charging you $20 every month. I would rate this 0 if I could. Absolutely terrible. Very unclear about the price you will be charged and I have tried to cancel this multiple times and have reached out to customer service 5 times with NO response and I am still being charged monthly. DISHONEST and AWFUL customer service.

This service is less about creating resumes and more about scamming people to get access to your cc info. Once you give out your cc info, your account will be charged every single month until you personally do a reconciliation with your bank and realize the changes because they WILL NOT send you any receipt or notification of the monthly charge. My case was worse because when I log into my account, I get prompted to "go premium" and wasn't allowed to use/ download my resume even though I was already getting charged the premium price every month. My bank confirmed the charges every single month since I created the account even though I can't even use the service. Learn from my mistakes.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A "COMPANY" THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! I have tried to cancel my account for several months (myself on the site and over the phone with a representative). THEY STILL KEEP CHARGING ME and the account still remains open... Even though, last month when I spoke to someone they said they cancelled my account and would ACTUALLY refund me....I never got a penny put back into my account. (kicking myself for not blocking the payments last month, but I trusted them) and now they still seem to be screwing me over! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

- Site is buggy - most of the times when their online preview show a 1 page pdf file, when you download it, it's actually 2 pages. - Worst customer service - Their customer service does not exist. Try to contact them several times without getting any answer.

I have been trying to get support to contact me back for 36 hours. They have not answered emails with my request for help, nor do they take calls. Here is the problem. It seems to work seamlessly until it doesn't. While updating my husband's resume for a job, I have an issue that I can't get corrected. This resume was supposed to be turned in this morning. Alas, it has not because it has issues. Who has ever entered references with the wording "FROM" such and such company? Here is an example of what it says- John Smith From Acme Mechanical. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!!! They will charge you a recurring $24.95 charge. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and block them from charging my card again. It's a big hassle and they are a SCAM company.

Apart from service is not good and there was not enough information when buying stuff and it takes way too long for the customer support to answer emails, I paid the initial fee and before I realize I was automatically subscribed and charged again (over Euro 25). After several attempts to get a refund, I gave up. Please stay away from resumer.io!

THIS SITE IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT USE RESUME IO!!! If you call with any questions or concerns the call center is based in the U.S. but the company is based in the Netherlands and they are AWFUL!!!! One representative named Jennifer actually hung up on me. Finally, another representative told me even though other reps have said you'll receive a call from a manager, you never will. You'll receive an email and they are always generic automated templates. At least she was honest. Anyway, please save yourself the trouble and NEVER use this site. You'll regret you did.

Attention! It`s a fraudulent service! Subscribing you automatically to paid services after a trial period ending. I gave no consent to save my credit card and automatically charge off. There were no warning letters on my email box concerning subscription extending from this service, nothing. I have used it only once to test, and it was ok with me to pay 2,95 $ for the trial period, but stealth payment 24,95 $ each month for an idle activity - it is a little bit overwhelming. I had found it accidentally when was checking my bank account. There were no letters from this service about charging my money. BE AWARE!
