BEWARE!! They are nothing but scammers! Took over $100 from my 19 year old son trying to do his first resume on his own! Shame on you! You have not heard the end of this! We are only one of many voices wanting to tell of your deception and deceit!
They advertise as a free resume builder. I went through all the steps to create my resume. Got to the end and find out I have to pay to access it. I paid the couple of dollars so I wouldn't lose the information. Was able to download it and email it to a friend for review. Logged back on to do some editing and now it will not let me download it. It takes me back to the subscription page. They advertise unlimited access for 14 days. Spoke with tech support and was told he would escalate it to management and to allow 24 to 48 hours for a response. So not only do I not have access to it, I am losing two days of the 14 day subscription.
Be careful! If you don't cancel the service immediately, get ready to pay $24.95 month. I guess I didn't read the small print. A deceptive practice!
I tried building my resume and was not successful. but the company continues to charge my CC monthly $24.45.

I tried canceling 'my subscription' online but, the system is not allowing me to cancel.
I just emailed the customer support.
Do not use them, there are other sites out there which are much better and
I found myperfectresume trying to find a free resume template. After finding the company I spent 4 hours building my resume thinking it was free. I went to print the resume and was informed it was going to be a few dollars to print. Not wanting to lose my resume I paid the few bucks. This is where they get yeah. Incognito like, you know have a 24$ every 4 week prescription. I took me about 125$ to finally catch the charge on my cc. I had no recipes from them and it seemed like the way they make a majority of their money. Big wast of money. I just got off the phone. They offered me 13 dollars back to make it seem like a legit business. Sorry, but it’s a scam.
Watch out for their auto renew feature! I was charged $23.95 twice for a one time template my kid downloaded! It’s advertised as $2 but then they start the renewal scam. And billed twice before I even got a statement to find out about it.
My Perfect Resume did not provide any service with the exception of a resume template which one can get from many other websites for free. If is a very expensive service costing hundreds of dollars a year for a template. The client does not even own the template once you buy it - you need to pay monthly to have access to your own resume. Lastly, any input they provide regarding improving the resume are generic and therefore not useful.
Short answer: Don't use myperfectresume.com or any website like it. It's designed to hook you in for a nominal fee and then eat your wallet in the hopes you aren't paying attention. Case in point. I used the website to build a resume and paid the few dollars it took to be able to access its services but the "trial" was never explicitly said. Now, it was foolish of me to take them at their word. I thought that I paid one time fee and when I check my bank statement I come to find that I've been charged $23.95 for their monthly fee. Total SCAM! Do not subscribe to this service. I bought an layout once (August 17, 2017) FOR 1 (ONE DOLLAR) on my debit card and that's it. I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING!!! After that this company kept taking money from my account during 2 years!!! I did not notice it was from this website because it is the same amount I pay monthly services for the bank. I have never logged in my account because I did not know I had an account and I did not buy this! They took 838.80$ total and I did not notice.

Since I spoke with your customer service rep who had promised a refund of 3 months on the phone, I checked my records. I cancell my subscription now! Its January 19, 2020. If my cards gets charged after or on January 23, 2020 I will call all the news station in Denver and get them to report across country that you are thieves of people hard earned money. So make you cancell mine and make it doesnt get charged . I may just turn the stations onto this web site to see all the same complaints these others have had. I get your bank account ready to pay people back.

Total SCAM! Do not subscribe to this service. They will continue to charge your card after requesting that you cancel the subscription. I have been trying to cancel my subscription since May and they are still charging me! I have sent multiple emails to have this service canceled and they do not respond. No one answers the phone. I also filled out the cancel my subscription two times and they still continue to charge me. The only way to get them to stop charging you is to cancel your credit card. Please do not subscribe to this service!

Every negative review begins with a complaint. Please note, this site does everything it says it will. It will help to format your resume and it even has phrases used by others in similar industries so you can import them into your resume. Where it goes downhill is when you need to cancel. They say they give you back a prorated amount of your money back, but you cannot trust them by their word. If you cancel, call them to cancel, don't do it online. If you cancel online and expect them to do the right thing, they won't. I canceled, and even received cancelation confirmation, but hadn't seen the prorated refund, so I called. This company does not send email notifications of ongoing charges, and counts on people signing up and then forgetting the $25/month charge. Unacceptable business practice. Give it a zero.
Do not use!!! I agreed to a $3.95 trial but have been getting charged $24.95/ month for 4 months. I canceled the subscription last month (at least that’s what I thought) but got another charge this month. They make it confusing and complicated to cancel, with 100 follow up questions like “are you sure you want to cancel?”, and making the actual “cancel” button less visible. Do not use this service! They are absolute thieves! If you use them once they will continue to take money from your bank account undetected. They stole $900 dollars from my credit card until I discovered it was happening.

Totally misleading web site.. totally NOT clear that the free day trial would auto renew and charge me $104.74 for nothing!!! The site was NOT helpful. I did not even use the resume. See all the reviews below all asking for refunds. ALL the same issue, however when you call, they say there site is not misleading!
I will NEVER use your company AGAIN. Your company has stole over $400.00 from my credit card. I tried the free trial resume and cancelled immediately. Your Company has been consistently charging my credit card 24.95 for the last 17 months. That is stealing. You need to reimburse my credit card in FULL. This is a complete ripoff. You pay a reasonable amount to build a resume and then they sneak in a very large monthly charge. There are not trying to help you and you should never use this service!!! I should have been given a full refund, but they gave me 12 dollars back. Sad they should be ashamed! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!
