It should be a zero. Buyer Beware This company is horrible to work with and does not have the professionalism to call their customers. https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/jacksonville/profile/windows/pella-windows-and-doors-of-jacksonville-0403-43124487 Jacksonville Pella Windows and Doors is an unprofessional company that lacks basic communication skills with customers and employees. Each department works independently so it is up to the customer to figure out if you need to talk to sales, service or install. If you have any issues with the installation, you are trapped into a nightmare. No one knows the status of the items damaged or missing. Communication is via text message with no... Read More

After a rocky start, Pella came through with flying colors at the finish line. The two Pella service men just left. They were very nice, respectful, caring and did a great job. I’m totally happy with my choice to go with Pella. Thank you Pella for tolerating me. After the death of my lovely wife, I may have been too hard on you and I’m sorry. Great job, Great Product, Great People.

PLEASE READ! I spent or I should say, wasted $21,000.00 on Pella windows and a sliding door. I regret even calling them for an estimate. Never, never just believe a salesman, they get paid by lying to people. My experience with this company has been absolutely terrible. I had a professional window cleaning company here after the corn harvest across the road. He found problems with Pella, I called Pella to tell them of the problem. Now, I just talked to Mary at Pella, I asked if she would listen to me, her response, I’ll try. Is that really how you want to be treated as a buying customer? I had Andersen Windows out here after Pella sent three people here to look at the damage. They said, we... Read More

BEWARE! I bought Pella windows and sliding door. If I could give them a zero I would. I spent $21,000.00 at Pella. Now they treat me like yesterday’s trash. They won’t even answer my call. I urge yo to shop around before you buy from this company. The salesman made all kind of promises. He came once to get a check, came back to get more money and promised he would be there the day they finished. I didn’t see him for over a year. I had problems right away. The workmanship was terrible. They had to come back three times and it’s still not right. I urge, especially my Fellow Veterans, don’t get taken by these evil folks. Get a couple estimates and be sure to call Andersen. They came out,... Read More

On 4/27/23 I purchased 4 Pella vinyl windows. On 5/11/23 when it rained, water ran inside my windowsill and onto my carpet. I notified Pella and they sent a Tech out that informed me that he told Pella that the windows were a bad design. They were unable to resolve the problem after two attempts, so I filed a small claims suit against Pella Windows on 10/20/23. I presented evidence with photos of the water leaking when the technician was here to repair the windows. The technician cut a hole in the bottom of the frame of the window. The judge was biased and made a remark to me, stating " what make you think that I would decide in your favor." I would never recommend this company to... Read More

Stay away from Pella. I have been totally screwed by them 2 times. The windows came broken, and several were missing from the order. They took the broken windows back to the warehouse and then said that they didn't. I helped load them on the truck for them. I was then forced to pay for the broken windows and even the windows that weren't delivered. I wish I could leave a negative 5 review. also the salesman Joe lied about almost everything..

4-5 years ago, I spent nearly $100,000 to install all new Pella windows and doors in my house. Today, when it rains, all three of my Pella sliding glass doors leak. These leaks have caused significant damage to my home. A Pella service person recently came out to inspect the problem and determined the seal around the glass on the doors has failed. He said that 8 of the 12 glass panels (4 panels per door) in the doors need to be “reglazed”. That’s a 67% fail rate in a relatively short time. Pella just informed me I’ll need to pay $500 per glass panel to have them reglazed since they only carry a 2-year warranty for labor. The warranty to reglaze only carries a 1-year warranty. Based on my... Read More

no one should ever purchase a Pella product. they do not service what they make. I can't speak to the quality of their current products, but products a few years old have design problems and Pella just does nothing to service the products. I am an architect and would never allow these on a project.

The Pella hardware of my door handle broke while still under warranty. The antique bronze color was no longer offered so Pella replaced the hardware with a nickel colored one. This was unacceptable as that was the only hardware in my entire house that was not antique bronze. The repairman and the phone support offered no alternatives to color match. On my own I was able to figure out the true manufacturer and supplier of the door hardware that Pella uses and on their website they had antique bronze. Pella buys from this source but did not offer this information to help me. I then bought a new handle that matched the rest of my hardware despite Pella telling me that there was no hardware... We signed a contract with the Brea, CA Pella Corporation on 2/25/22 for French doors. Over five months later (and beyond our contract time of 4-5 months, after numerous delays and cancellations on their end) on 8/4/22 they tried to deliver damaged and bowed doors that were not installable. We immediately emailed Adam Ring the “Customer Service” manager to cancel because we did not trust their product due to obvious lack of quality control. Adam Ring refused to cancel our contract and is now trying to send us to collections for a product that was not only in unworkable condition but one we sent back. We have reached out to numerous individuals at this company but they refuse to help us even... Read More

Do NOT use this company. Shockingly horrible. They ordered the wrong sliding doors for us and refused to admit it even with all our evidence. We lost all the money and had to reorder sliding doors/pay again b/c the openings were made for those specific doors. Hated giving them more money. They were delivered and they'd sent the wrong screens, so now we waited for those to arrive. Seriously was two years from beginning to end and so much stress and wasted money.

Within 4 months of purchasing a pella sliding patio door parts fell off and dirt accumulated in the track inside the house. Pella sent a technician out in about 2 1/2 months, fixed the door but dirt still comes in the house. The next technician said that it is just a low quality product. A $800 low quality product. A pella company representative said the same thing. If you buy a door around or above the $2000 price range then you should not have that problem. Pellas lifetime warranty doesn’t exist if you purchase it through Lowes. And if it’s past 90 days then Lowes says that it is up to pella. Past 118 days and a credit card company won’t do anything. I would not put a pella product on a... Read More

Don't buy Pella windows. We spent $30,000 to replace most of the windows in our house. Half of the windows were improperly installed causing leaks that were slowly causing damage we were unaware of until finally a driving rain from the east caused thousands of dollars to damage to our ceilings and walls. Pella was notified of this in October but didn't sent a so-called tech until the end of January. He came with snow on our roof. Didn't do anything, charged us $150 for nothing and we set up another appointment for a month later. When the repairmen came they took the outside coverings off the two leaking and told us the windows weren't flashed or caulked in. Seven windows improperly... Read More

We will not buy Pella again. We loved the doors we had installed a few years ago, but this time we were very disappointed in Pella. We learned that they do not make their doors any more and the craftmanship shows. It took almost 1 full year (-2 weeks) before we got our door installed. This is because of the poor quality door they first sent to us and the lack of communication. After 24 emails/calls and one year later we did finally get a decent door installed, but we are done with Pella.

NEVER BUY PELLA WINDOWS!!! One of the screens on a Pella Window on my house disappeared, probably blown off in a wind storm. Pella made me jump through ridiculous hoops to try and buy a replacement screen. Ending with quoting me a price for a SCREEN that was more than I paid for the window!!! Ridiculous! If it were an Anderson window it would be about $40 for a new screen.

I purchased several thousand dollars worth of Pella windows and doors between 2017 and 2018. I used a certified installer from their website who I had to later terminate. Pella was extremely unhelpful in finding my another installer. Once I did find an installer, they were not helpful when asked to help us resolve issues with small parts that were missing, or a motorized window that was not working. I am/was willing to pay for parts but no one would even help me or call me back. I was very disappointed and would never recommend Pella. Worst customer service. They do not care about their customers.

I have owned Pella windows in two different homes, over 40 years, and I have enough experience with them to tell you don’t buy them. The air gap leaks after a period of time, and don’t even Think about life time guarantee, it doesn’t exist with pella. They are not worth the price and they will end up causing you grief and the service sucks.

Pella windows are Kmart windows. The absolute worst windows on the market today. They only have a 2 year warranty and will eventually rot closed from the inside out. You will not be able to tell in most cases until you try to open the window. If you buy windows from Pella you need to also buy a whole lot of silicone for all the water leaks you are going to get and a sledge hammer for each room. Because if their is a fire you are not going to be able to get out your house. The glass on windows now a days is like automobile front wind shield glass they are not easy to break. All of my windows on my house rotted shut and I am not the only one. That is why they were sued but failed to contact... Read More

Very happy with the product but installation has been a nightmare! I spent $12,000 on Pella because of the name. The product looks great and works great but that is where the party ends. We were told that it would be 60-90 days before the install, but it was 6 months. We did the financing so we could pay them off in a year and not have to pay the interest so, they received their money upfront, and we will probably pay them off before the job is complete. They have failed final inspection 3 times and still counting. Although I am very happy with the product, I would NEVER recommend Pella to a friend. The customer service has also been below expectations. If I were to do it all over again, I... Read More

To: Pella customer support CC: Tim Yaggi From: Barbara MacIlvain and Sean Benner Date: September 23, 2021 I purchased a Pella Lifestyle patio door for $5178.41 from Pella in Nashville TN on September 8, 2020 that was installed by Pella in November of 2020 at 3608B Saratoga Drive, Nashville, TN. I purchased the Pella door because of the strong warranty and local service available for your product. When I placed a call to Pella service in July of 2021 to correct the leaking patio door I was expecting well trained technicians and what I got was circus clowns. First visit: Two technicians show up and examine the door, place white paper towels all along the wood floor against the door... Read More

Beautiful windows with craftsmanship. However, customer service sucks. Project manager can not return a phone call. Plus they wanted to install a damaged window.

Ordered auto-locks for my 250 series windows. One lock was broken during installation. 2 more locks fell off the windows the first time I opened them. I brought them through Lowe's. I strongly recommend not using Lowe's. Ordered the windows in Feb. Installation was in April. It is now Sept 16th, and installation is still not complete. Installers have been out 5X, already. Caulking is still not completed. Disgraceful customer service and quality!

This company's products are horrible. They frequently break down, and are needlessly complicated and difficult to repair. Good luck to you if you need service. Expect at least a 6 week wait. Customer service is also horrible.

The window was installed and looked beautiful. 4 months later it started to fog some panes. After 1 yr the whole window fogged. We had to pay the install which was more than what the whole window cost. I have ordered many windows from dif. companies before and have never had a fogged window issue. This is my 3rd house. 1st time ordering Pella. Never again.
