This company does not honor its warranty. Avoid at all cost as the build quality is questionable.

Claim # 02534696 -Alpine Windows( Associated Materials) is awful to deal with. Service and responsiveness is horrible. It's been over two months of me attempting to get my window replaced and installed. Their customer representative was rude and not helpful over the phone 4/19/23. Refused to patch me to a supervisor when asked. Advised, I would receive a response from a supervisor within 48-72hrs "DID NOT HAPPEN" ! Followed up by sending an email to Alpine ,received a generated response that I would be contacted in 10 business days, basically another 3 weeks. Several homes in my 2018 Toll Brothers Community have experienced condensation issues after 2-3yrs. Alpine will replace... Read More

A local builder here in Santa Rosa installs these in his new builds. He continues to build cheap spec homes and uses this company for one reason, they are cheaply made. You get what you pay for, stay away. Go with Millard, great window, great company, fair price.

I must say my experience in dealing with the company is really bad. I can not reach anyone to cover a window replacement. The Warranty DEPT never respond. You can not reach them by email or phone . really bad. The sign of good company is standing behind their products and they are not.. STAY AWAY

As a window installer I have worked with many different window manufacturers. Around 2000 I installed Alpen, purchased by the owner, on a home addition. I was impressed then with the product and staff support. For this reason when I had a very quality oriented client who wanted very energy efficient windows installed in their home in 2020 I referred them to Alpen windows. This review does not rate the efficiency of the window, it is strictly about the support behind the product. First , the sales representative that helped the client was in my opinion, was not well educated on the optional accessories that were available to use for window replacement offer by Alpen. We struggled to... Read More

Alpine windows is a bad company to deal with. They do not honor their "lifetime" warranty. They give you the run around when you have an issue. We had out home built by a company that used Alpine windows and the windows are all very poorly made. We called to get them to come and take a look at their defective products and they said we are not under warranty due to the fact that they sold to our builder and not us, the consumer of their defective product. Will never, ever buy their product. Buyer be very aware!! No stars! (Had to give it one star to have this site accept my comment)

Dear Associated Materials, Brian C Strauss Scott F Stephens Dana A Schindler Justin G Tasso Charles A Carroll Lawrence M Blackburn Your warranty is useless. I have two Alpine windows that have lost the seal. Your warranty dept. says "tough luck, and NO, we will not even look at your windows." I had five window repair people tell me that "good luck, you will not get any service by Alpine Windows." I was a builder when we built the subdivision and installed Alpine Windows in 12 homes. Now, your lousy warranty department tells me to go suck wind. First, Jennifer claims she never received any emails or photos from me. So, I forwarded to her all the emails that went to her... These windows are not great quality and the warranty service is a lower quality than the windows. We are trying to replace the second window in 16 months. Now the funny thing is that they make us send all the same information as the first time (warranty deed as proof of home ownership), even though we have asked them to ship the window to the same name, same address as last time. No big deal, but now they want me to pay a $25 fee to ship to my home. But we're going on four weeks now, I am told via email the warranty window replacement is approved but the status has not changed in the online portal, apparently they are still doing some additional analysis...no one can tell me what that... Claim #2086926 I have called Alpine Windows every week for nearly 2 months and no resolution. Their customer service people are rude and not helpful. Keeps telling me that it's out of their hands if their contractor hasn't called me yet. Lifetime warranty seems useless if you can't get someone out to repair it.

I replaced all my windows in my addition 1999 . Lots of the thermal glass is failing with pieces of plasied in the middle and rust. The glass has a dull film between the pannels.

I have been trying to get a replacement window from Alpine for 6 months. They have the worst dealer network and customer service I have ever seen! Buy Milgard!!

Alpine Windows are, without doubt, the worst product possible. There is no reason to make a purchase of this product - even for a dog house. We are on our second round of replacements in ten years, with massive seal failure on fixed, slider, and double hung window. Three sliding glass doors leak air and the hardware is constantly breaking. Dirt passes right through the doors and sliders with any level of wind. Calls for warranty are followed-up with major hoops to jump through in an effort to discourage the eventuality of actual warranty fulfillment. AGAIN, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND ITS PEOPLE IS LOW GRADE.

The windows in my dbl wide are falling apart. I called for replacement parts in November 2017. Still waiting for them to contact me on replacement parts. Contacted them again in June. Still waiting for them to contact me. I guess I will be looking for a real company to replace these windows.

This is a continuation from my original post dated 10/30/17. Filed a 4th claim for an additional 6 replacement windows on 11/1/11. Today they were finally replaced. Of the 33 panes of window glass in our home, 18 have been replaced. Horrible product and worse customer service.

20 years in building material supply and almost 20 years as a custom home builder has given me quite a bit of experience with windows. Last year I tried Alpine windows on a custom home. I found the windows to be of poor quality and Alpine Windows customer service and repair to be extremely poor to nonexistent. Several windows developed stress cracks, but the worst was the patio slider having about 1/2" open gaps at both the top and bottom meeting rail leaving the house open to the elements as well as rodents. Alpine Windows first response was that the gaps were supposed to be there. A ludicrous response. They have been supposed to send a replacement part to the local supplier to fix the... Read More

Spend a little more and get a better window. The Alpine Windows installed in our home 14 years ago are of poor quality and have caused our utility bills to be higher than necessary not to mention their horrible appearance. The seals failed within a few years. We attempted the first time we noticed the leaks to get Alpine to replace their defective windows. They do not allow the lumber yard to simply get new windows and send out an installer as you would expect. Instead they try to keep costs down on their defective Alpine Windows by making the process so convoluted most people simply give up and replace their defective Alpine Windows at their own cost. I am still waiting for my... Read More

Our initial installation of Alpine 80 series retrofit windows was in 2009. Since then, of the 17 windows, (33 panes of glass), that were installed, I will be calling to make our 4th claim to have windows replaced shortly. We were told the batch of windows we received were a bad design and no problem getting them replaced. Glad to hear that however, I should be having to replace windows every few years. Not pleased.
