The $15,000 maximum gives customers the liberty to add more funds to their cards, while the lack of a minimum balance assures that cardholders will not be charged if their account balance reaches zero. However, as in with all prepaid cards, the Betty Boop card comes with a number of fees. Cardholders are charged a $9.95 maintenance fee every month, which is waived if $1,000 or more are deposited during the card's 30-day cycle. There is a $2.95 fee for all over-the-counter or ATM withdrawals, unless the funds are withdrawn from Western Bank or from ATMs with the MoneyPass logo. Other fees include balance inquiry fees, express delivery, card replacement, paper statement, and foreign transaction fees.
