I am a child whose parents use Circle. It honestly feels like an invasion of privacy and my brother, father and I hate the system. My father still uses it anyways. The fact that we had to download the individual app on each device sucks and now I can't delete any apps at all. Our family uses IOS Devices, if that helps. I don't enjoy having to be cautious of how much screentime I've used or being paranoid that my father will just shut off my internet time at the click of a button. It's also really janky and it slows down the internet that you're using. I don't recommend it at all.
I just signed up for a trial with meet circle. It says my child is not assigned to a device, although I assigned her phone. I can't find directions for help in managing my account. There are other apps out there that are much easier to manage without spending an afternoon trying to figure this out. Could someone please contact me so that I can cancel this trial.
We used the subscription service with our Netgear router, with the understanding that this paid service would monitor devices even when not using our router. Not true. When our daughter is using the data plan, Circle is not tracking or filtering. It was simple to set up, but the way it blocks web searches is frustrating and confusing. We are looking for another solution.
