Harris Poll Online is a popular online polling website, in which participants are offered payment in exchange for filling out surveys. The platform has over 6 million users across 90 countries, and is backed by Harris Interactive, a NY-based market research firm founded in 1975.

Harris Poll Online offers consumers an easy rewards and incentives system with a variety of offers for members to participate in, due to its partnership with over 500 PR firms.

Features and Services

Harris Poll Online is a worldwide research company that enables users from around the globe to participate in surveys and other activities for which they can earn gift cards in return. The online platform is structured around "HIpoints" which members can then use to redeem rewards.

Members earn 15 HIpoints for every activity in which they participate, even if they've been disqualified while completing a survey. Surveys typically take between 15 and 20 minutes to finish, but there are also short surveys which only take around 5 minutes to complete.

Apart from the giftcards reward system, Harris Poll Online also runs a quarterly sweepstakes for its users. Members can use their points to purchase an entry into the HIstakes where they have a chance to win up to $10,000.

The online platform does not give cash rewards for their members for their participation. Sweepstakes and gift cards are the only choice users have for redeeming the points they've accumulated. Reward processing takes only 7 to 15 business days, and are sent directly to the user’s e-mail.

This is a company that needs to be regulated due to their dishonest actions . As well they should be fined or have a class action lawsuit (where are all you lawyers that claim to be for eh little guy)?? I take polls via Survey Junkie and they have a regular habit of lying about the time it will take and worse, not rewarding you after spending a copious amount of time on their polls. This is usury and wrong. I take polls to keep up with medical bills and I am well aware that most pay but a fraction of minimum wage, but Harris Polls pays on average of 4 cents per hour (which is worse than depression era pay). I have taken 3 Harris surveys today on 3 different sites. On each, I completed the entire survey, only to find out after I was done, that I didn't qualify. They have a long history of cheating me out of points.

I submitted surveys for almost five years then I wanted to use my points to buy something and could not log in. I contacted them for help and all I got was a case number to my problem. No customer support and no payment for my time. Absolutely the worst. Don't waste your time.

Since December 26, can't get my reward because they say my birthdate doesn't match what they have on file.  I have found one other person who has the same exact problem starting in early December, Have been sending them emails daily because I cannot use their contact us feature on their website cause it is not working.  I guess the next step is to go to the BBB, that is how I got a response from them months ago.  I have been a member since 2003.  My, how the mighty has fallen!

I have been a member of Harris poll for years and fill out every poll they send me BUT I have tried for WEEKS to sign into my Harris poll account with absolutely no luck. I've written to them about this problem numerous times but when it comes to the page to send that email it tells me something happened and they could NOT send the email. You then click "OK" which takes you back to the sign in page--which is the exact page I was having trouble with in the first place. Harris poll, if you read this please contact me on this.

i have been a member for years and never had a problem cashing in until now . After months of surveys and $25 worth of points, I went to cash in and they said my DOB was wrong, I’ve been cashing in for years with this DOB and never had a problem. Refuse to respond to my complaint. I filed with the BBB because I’m not letting them keep what I’ve earned. Stay away!

I've been with them for years now, and had issues logging into this site the other day. I wasn't getting credit for my surveys in the first place but I had points in my account that I could get rewards for and I contacted customer service and those jerks said that they deleted my account! They said it was part of a "routine cleaning" yeah sure right. More like they don't want to give our rewards so they pull that. Others have said the same thing too. So I'm not surprised but don't bother with them, they are awful!

Not a great company to deal with,never ever received 15 points for surveys I didn't qualify for and all of a sudden Friday they decided they didn't life some answer I gave on a survey so they just dumped me and never let me cash the points I did earn and now cannot log in,scam company with no business etiquette,no clue how to operate at all,save your time,get more money picking up cans on the street by your house!

I log on regularly, I went to log in and o won't log in, there always a error when trying to contact customer support or tech support so that's out. There is no possible excuse for them to try and say it's because my about odd locked for activity because like I said I am a regular consistent user. After reading other reviews and how my account is acting when trying to log in it is as of they deleted it. So as to now this whole thing was a bait n switch type thing, I really wasn't getting credited fur what I was doing fully anyway. That being said, if anyone does create an account good luck. I suggest do not mess with them cause it's a waste of time

I have been tying for 3 months to collect my rewards points. Cant login and when they sent a password reset link it expired within a couple of hours. I cant sit in front of a computer all day and hope they will send it. Now 5 emails which are not going thru i have no recourse but to write to them and suggest that this is one big fraud.

Wow.. I am having the same issue with trying to login to my account. I still get invites for surveys but I never seem to qualify. What a way to treat a long time survey taker!!!!

I was a member for many years. After a short hiatus of a couple of months, I tried to log on and was unable to do so. I contacted technical support and was told that my account was closed because of inactivity and that I had not logged on for more that 12 months. I checked my records and found out that this was not the case. I had contacted them about a survey issue within the past 6 months. I was also told that all my points were forfeited and that once an account is 'unsubscribed' it can never be reactivated. I was actually a member of this site for many years, and was very satisfied, until a about 18 mos ago. At that time and for no reason, I was no longer able to access my account. They took my over $50 in reward and have ignored all my communications to resolve this. I finally received a notification that I should sign up under a different email and should be able to restore my account and points. I did that, and still cannot access the site or my previous account. I have been with them for years and until recently was very satisfied. For some reason my account got closed mistakenly. I managed to contact them and they said I clluld rejoin and have my points transferred but would need to register to another email address. I've done that but now can't get through the first page of survey invite as it asks for Zip Code and won't accept Post code. I've tried contacting them but the online help form wont work properly and I can find no other way to contact them

I have used this site for years.i don't know why I stuck with them.but they have the worst payoffs and now it wont even let me into their site.ive built up a lot of points on this site.now I cant even get in to it.DO NOT JOIN THIS LOW LIFE SITE!!!!!!

The rewards with them are off the chain! I love working with them. Their deals are off the chain and I like them a lot. I told all my friends to get in with dem too.
