Latest Roadway Movers Reviews
Just moved from NY to Camarillo, CA and I was incredibly satisfied with my move. The NY team was was experienced with identifying the fragile packages and helped me finish up packing and the California team, headed by Joe was courteous and very helpful.
I had an initially pleasant experience with Matt as my coordinator, and he was good about answering my questions when I called. They gave me a 3 day window for the move, which was in the middle of July (the busiest season for movers) and I spoke with Matt several days before that just to check in and all was fine. In the middle of the 3 day window, on the exact day that they were supposed to show up to pick up my boxes, I got a call from one of their representatives who told me "We have had mechanical problems with our trucks, and we will not be able to service your move." I was dumfounded and asked several times if that meant they were cancelling on me altogether or simply postponing. It... Read More
Moved 579 miles and was treated like I moved to another county. NOTHING I was told about the coordination of this move was true! This company starts you out talking to a nice, educated sounding "coordinator" who will tell you they will be your "go to" person for the whole move ~ Lie #1. Once your deposit clears you will never hear from this move coordinator again (mine was Matt M.), he will also never answer your calls or text messages. Basically vanishes off the face of the earth! You will be given a pick up day, but this is actually a window of time that you will not be told of ~ so don't make any plans! In my case, I was told what a short distance move this would be and they would... Read More
I have moved a lot and this had to have been the worst experience ever (March 2018). No piece of furniture arrived unscathed. The broker representative, Mat, was polite and initially responsive. However, the mover, Integrated Moving Solutions, was awful and unprofessional. My bedroom furniture had not been moved since I purchased it and was scratch free. Yet when it arrived, a drawer was broken, parts of the bed frame were scratched and indented. Every piece of wooden furniture had additional scratches and indentations. They moved my piano on its side and apparently dropped it, damaging the floor, which resulted in a costly repair from below. They showed no care or respect for my... Read More
Don't be fooled. These people are Roadway Movers...NOT Roadway Moving! The real Roadway (in NYC) is the one with the great reviews. Roadway Movers in Florida are brokers who will sell your job to the anyone and not stand behind it at all. Terrible experience, just like Tamara and Mark. Once they get your money they will not return your calls or offer any assistance with the company they sold your move to. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you want the real thing, go to roadwaymoving.com NOT Roadway movers.
I can confirm that the same thing happened to me that happened to Mark L. I was moving from Chicago to LA and given a quote of $1,550. They told me the moving company would be there on Monday when my wire transfer deposit went through...instead the movers showed up Tuesday when they already had my money. I had told Logan I had moved these things multiple times in the past and needed approximately 600 cubic ft. The electronic agreement I signed had disappeared after signing and was not emailed to me as a confirmation, so if you do use this company (which I wouldn't recommend) print the agreement before signing it. I believe mine was altered after signing, but had no proof since I trusted... Read More
Beware of these guys. They just scammed me for $1300! Despite their insistence that they're a moving company, you won't find trucks on the road with their logo. They sit in an office in FL and broker deals. I went over the specifics of my household goods several times. The broker called Logan proceeded to low-ball the figures so the estimate came in low. I had everything packed in a 10' x 15' x 7' storage unit. He proceeded to put down the volume as 450 cubic feet rather than 1050 cf. I told him there were 70 boxes. He noted 50. The day of the move, the "quote" doubled. He lied that they are a moving company. He lied about the quote. He lied that they had worked with the real... Read More
