Plan Types
Bright Health allows you to customize coverage by offering both HMO- and PPO-style Medicare Advantage programs. They have a total of seven programs. All include preventive dental care and hearing services. Some offer the option of adding comprehensive dental and vision care coverage.
It's important to understand that none of Bright Health's plans are Medigap plans, which actually extend the coverage Medicare provides to help you bridge the gap between what Medicare pays and what you actually owe for health care services. Private Medicare Advantage programs typically lower your co-pays and limit your maximum out-of-costs versus the original Medicare program offered by the Federal government. They may also increase the number of covered medical services.
