About Gobble

Gobble provides fast and easy to cook meal kits that are conveniently pre-chopped and delivered straight to a customer’s doorstep. The company allows consumers to cook gourmet meals in as fast as 10 minutes with the help of their three-step recipe that is created for one pan cooking.

The provider let customers pick from a variety of chef-designed meals whichever suits their tastes and diet. They deliver weekly meal kits together with fool-proof recipe cards for customers to use as guide. Gobble makes sure that their meals are healthy and uses locally and freshly sourced ingredients. Each meal is designed to have a total of 500 to 700 calories.

Consumers are provided with one online account per household which let them manage their setting through Gobble dashboard. It allows them to change delivery schedules, meal preference, address, and dinner kits for each week.

For customers that are weight-conscious, Gobble offers meals that are nut-, dairy-, and gluten-free every week. Other meals can be prepared as nut-free, dairy-free, or gluten-free by cutting out specific ingredients which will be packed solely in the package.

Gobble offers an all-inclusive price that does not have any hidden fees such as tax, gratuity, or shipping. The company charges $11.95 per meal for 6 or more meal orders and $13.95 per meal for 4 meals.

Shipping and Delivery

Each package arrives in a secured and refrigerated box between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on the chosen delivery date of a customer. They deliver boxes every Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Currently, Gobble distributes meal kits in all areas of Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, and California. Customers can also choose to skip deliveries for a particular week by visiting their Gobble Dashboard and going to their Delivery Calendar section. They are allowed to skip or cancel subscriptions every Wednesday at 11:59 pm for the following week.

Gobble is hardly 15 minutes. Yes on occasion something that is already made is ready in 15 minutes, but it is hit or miss. I am still on the fence. I don’t like the extra add on items where you have to buy 2 serving when 1 salad is plenty to split.

Food was very good and proportions were adequate unlike another service who sent sides for 1 person when should have been 2. My problems were delivery. Twice in a row, delivery was late. First time instead of receiving on Wednesday it came Saturday and food was very warm. Second time, was two days late. It was packaged with extra ice and food was cold, chicken was still frozen; however, some how a hole ended up in the liquid for the beef stew and had spilled out. I was recommended this meal service by a good friend as the flavor is good and preparation time is low compared to other competitors. Things arrived on time for the first few weeks and their customer service was responsive should any questions arrive. Recently, my meals were lost the last 4 weeks in a row. An email with tracking would arrive, I would check the status. They're schedule to arrive on Tuesdays, though the last 4 meals tracking numbers never updated. I would then check on Wednesday for an update, there is still no update. I then contacted their delivery service who claimed there was a "sorting" issue or that it should be one more day. I’ve had a less than desirable experience with their food quality. My meals arrived today and some of the food was spoiled and spilled. The tomato was so rotten is was liquid, a slice of onion was dried out and moldy, a carrot was discolored like it was rotting, a garlic paste container had opened and spilled some of its contents, etc. It all went in the trash and I’ve requested a refund and cancellation of my service.

Gobble completely failed me. Green mold and white fungus on asparagus, twice. No tomato for burger. Upgrade to filet mignon was a gob of chopped up mystery meat, arugula was almost liquid. The price was ridiculous for what I got. Even their description of a "Croissant Roll" was more like a biscuit. Such a hoax.

I'd love to actually rate the service, but unfortunately it's not available in my area. But that doesn't stop the company from CONSTANTLY sending out promotional mailers with offers for me. In fact I have received 3 cards in the past couple of months. And plenty before that. But I still get the "we're not available in your area" whenever I try to sign up. I've contacted them about it over and over. And all I get is the pre-fab response that says we'll be in your area, eventually. Very aggravating and unfortunately, it doesn't bode well for the future and actually getting product. Not that it's likely to happen anytime soon...

I loved the recipes this company makes, and the delicioius food in the two boxes I got to try, but I've had about five deliveries, and out of them only those two arrived on time. They do refund your money, but I live on an unbridged island with no grocery store. By the time the daily mail boat arrives, and I find out I didn't get my food, I have no way to go buy anything to eat. Three little ice packs in a cardboard box is not nearly enough to keep food cold. Also, if they're too cheap to send anything but Fedex ground, maybe they need to find a different business.

Beware! I signed up with this company but changed my mind to use a different delivery service. I cancelled within an hour of signing up and received confirmation of the cancellation. I was billed for two weeks before getting my credit card statement. I called their customer service and was told that they continue to charge until they receive a phone call. She confirmed receipt of cancellation and that no product had been sent, but the charge continues to process until they receive a phone call. Very dishonest business practice.

Although the meals are good, customer service is terrible. I skipped a couple meals but it wasn’t marked as skipped on their end and they sent them anyway after I told them I noticed it wasn’t marked. They never responded to my request not to send them. When I held a complaint I was told I should be better with choosing my meals the first time. The second time it happened I asked to deactivate and speak to a manager. No reply but they did deactivate no problem. My last meal arrived warm and I still haven’t gotten a response to as to why. They only reply if there’s no issue and there is no number to reach anyone. I don’t recommend based on service alone.

Tried them and loved it. Must have learned from previous comments because I reached out to customer service before placing my order and when I wanted to cancel- they were SO kind and helpful! They responded to my concerns extremely quickly and handled everything so well. Can’t go wrong trying this company for the introductory promo!! Plus the cookies are AMAZING!

Really Disappointing... Having tried a few meal delivery services, I’d put Gobble at the bottom of the list. Although the recipe selection looked varied and interesting, the actual food was of subpar quality and the meals were bland, when I was able to use the food that was sent. Further, trying to cancel my account was a nightmare, with customer service being less than helpful and erroneously charging me for an additional order when I had cancelled well before the deadline. STOP – READ – BEWARNED…Well like everyone I have a busy life and tried GOBBLE for a SECOND time, (first time was in 2017). Remembered, items were tasty, but selection was not the greatest and smaller portion sizes. I received a coupon via email, reactivated my account with the promise of first week for $36. I even bought some extra things, so my total was $79.95. Received my email that my package was picked up Tuesday morning and would be delivered Wednesday by the end of the day. HORRIBLE quality control. First box was almost entirely wrong, second box had one incorrect meat (which I forgave), and my third box had SPOILED MEATS and was warm!!! One of the cooling packs had also spilled all over the box. I had to email them to cancel, because it doesn't allow you to cancel online. I am still fighting with them to get the appropriate amount refunded, because they somehow only refunded $25 out of the $140 I paid that week. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THEM. I gave them 3 chances and there is just no dealing with it with how bad their mistakes are. It's downright dangerous!

HORRIBLE customer service. The meals were good, but as stated in previous comments, the cancellation process is ridiculous, and customer services is HORRIBLE. I was promised a supervisor would call me within 24 hours, and I am now waiting on 96 hours with me calling them DAILY to remind them that I'm still waiting.

Everything is a mix of good, neutral and bad. On balance Gobble receive a very low rating: One star Bad: 1) The site claims that a person can cancel their subscription at any time. The small hidden print found elsewhere states than an cancellation must be made before midnight on Wednesday will be forced to pay for another week and receive the meals he does not want. 2) The customer service "specialist" offered no empathy but simply repeated in a cold manner the policy. The food is good, easy recipes. My problem was cancelling in time before the next shipment. I cancelled on a Friday, they said it was Sunday either way cancel on Wednesday, right after you received the food. I just stocked my refrigerator & freezer & then I come home to see a box of food at my door. Their integrity was exceptional for not charging me for the delivery and asking me to donate the food to others.

1st meal was wonderful although a little too much for 2 people. 2nd meal was good and also a little too much for 2 people. Also the lime sent to squeeze juice over food was as dry and juiceless as the desert. 3rd meal was awesome and just right for 2 people

Well, the delivery came on time. Easy to order and received a free dessert for two on the first order. I opened the box and was excited to see fresh produce. BUT...the protein is really gross, I ordered for four three meals a week. I received four sirloins. The steak is old and the meat is broke down with BLACK blood. The second protein is chicken. It is pre-cooked. It looks so gross with all the milky water. I cannot even dare open the salmon. Very very disappointed and if you eat with your eyes first. You won’t be happy. I have asked for a refund. I’ll get back if I hear from support.

We have used Gobble for a year and overall we like them best over many other home delivery food meals. The food is fresh, usually, and prep is easy for us. As far as their customer service goes, it is horrible over the internet but wonderful over the phone. If we have had spoiled (only once) or leaked food (twice) they made it right immediately. We are staying with them.

First of all, how does Gobble have 5 stars if every review below is saying the same negative things?? This smells of paid "stars". I wanted to love Gobble, I really did. Their meals are fast, and tasty. A little on the expensive side, but for the convenience of having super nice meals in less than 20 minutes I was all in....BUT: Their quality control is HORRIBLE. Literally every week I've had them there was a problem with my box. I've had hair in my chicken, missing ingredients, missing entire meals, moldy food, open bags of chicken that leaked all over the box (salmonella anyone?) and an entire box of eggs that shattered into a leaky mess of egg goo all over my kitchen floor. PRobably the worst customer service experience ever. Our first box of two meals only contained one meal and the contents had all shifted in transit so the recipe cards were torn and wet because of the ice packs. I need to stress that it ONLY CONTAINED ONE OF TWO MEALS we ordered. We called customer service and they basically said they wouldn't refund us because we hadn't taken a picture of it and refused to elevate us to any kind of supervisor so we had no proof. As a first time consumer I am incredibly disappointed in your customer service policies and procedures. I'm a relatively new mother and time is not always on my side. When I stumbled across Gobble on Facebook I thought it would be a huge timesaver. I couldn't have been more wrong. I "accidentally" placed an order via the website but again my time is limited so I didn't get the confirmation email nor did I receive the email stating my order was on the way.
