Kitchen Magic.......more like kitchen tragic! 3 years out and I am having to have invest almost $6,000 in repairs because of faulty workmanship. My granite counter top has sunk. It was being supported with shims. The sink was not properly installed. There was a leak under the sink because the pipe was cut to short, which damaged the bottom of the cabinet and they refused to replace, The project manager was never on site even when I complained. I have refacing that has buckled and is coming unglued. The "craftsman" couldn't cut a straight line. There are gaps in the seams. Moldings are just sticking out. They damaged the floor and didn't repair it. Their answer: my house wasn't level.... Read More
I had Kitchen Magic come out to do a face lift to my kitchen. Part of the job was to remove the "blank" face plates in front of the sink and install two tilt out doors to put sponges and stuff in for storage. After less than 10 years, our Kitchen Magic Remodel is a mess--terrible quality. The paper is peeling off the doors that we were told were solid and virtually indestructible. We were also told that there was a lifetime warranty. We didn't read our contract carefully enough and acted on good faith. The warranty is only for 5 years, and it was only after that that the poor quality began to surface. Spending thousands of dollars on a kitchen remodel that remained intact for less than ten years makes it a terrible deal.
We bought a new construction home recently but we were not happy with the quality of the kitchen so after lots of research, we decided to work with Kitchen Magic. Up until the last day, things went smoothly. We felt that from the beginning working with Peter on the estimate, then the designer, then the various people who got in touch with us to communicate with us about necessary things like material drop offs and timings were very good. First the cabinetry people came and finished off the work quickly, then the stone people came for the countertops, then the tile person to do the backsplash, and the plumber in between those jobs here and there to prepare the new line for the pot...
