I was a Hilton Diamond member for 10 yrs. before I retired. Since I travel far less, they have dropped my status to Silver. I've realized that their competitors like Marriot offer lifetime status and reward loyalty. My mistake was being loyal to Hilton while they aren't loyal to me. My wife and I still travel about 20 nights a year. We'll be staying at Marriotts moving forward as I continue to be rewarded for a lifetime of loyalty to them.

This program used to be good but today when I tried to use my points with the Hilton cash and points option, the Hilton app took all of my points and then said “ oops! Something went wrong” and it kept my points but did not book my reservation. It then sent me an email congratulating me on using my points! I tried to chat with Hilton support and I tried my Hilton Gold contact phone number but there was “nothing they could do ” and said I “should get the Points back in 7-10 business days”. Long enough so that I would not need to book my hotel stay! It all seemed very scammy and a way to force you to not use your points. Not honest at all.

I am a Hilton Diamonds member. I was just about to book an Embassy Suits in FL App quoted me $186/night. Went online just to double check, and got the same room for $106. Just googling it paid off. I am upset because I travel a lot and just use the app but have now realized that they don't have my back. I was hoping that I would not have to spend additional time every time I make a reservation to price check them. What a sad state of affairs. DONT USE THE APP WITHOUT PRICE CHECKING.

I was recently told by the front desk lady at Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach Broadway at the Beach that they no longer allow digital check in or choose your room because they are located in Myrtle Beach SC of course that’s one of the perks as a Hilton Honors member. If that’s the case then they should remove that perk from their website under Hilton Honors member benefits.

August 24,2023 DoubleTree byHilton Asheville, North Carolina The front desk worker, Brayan, went above and beyond making my check in, 45 minutes long, digital check in would have avoided his ridiculous questions, however digital was not working. He insisted on calling my family member, that I told him I never call him at work. . He harassed me, a 75 year old woman. We are a Gold member, I couldn't believe my key envelope said they were glad I was there. This is how you show that? Questioning why my room was in another name, same last name as mine. The credit card on file was in my name, I had several forms of identification,

I recently stayed at HAMPTON INN EMPORIA KANSAS and I will definitely be returning! The reason is that your breakfast staff (notably Amanda) is outstanding and deserves notice and compensation as she makes your hotel stand out for hospitality and pride in the Hilton brand. I travel a lot and rarely see this type of dedication anymore. She makes your hotel stand out!

I am so Ticked Off!!!!! I have been a member since 2018, Stay in Hampton Inns 2 times or more each year. Last years they were so apologetic that my account was lost, they updated my account to what stays I was able to remember. most years since 2018 2-3 stays at a Hilton hotel. last stay 5 weeks ago. NO RECORDS FOUND ! Keep your darn rewards ! Spend so much with hope of a room once in a blue moon and what do I get, Your records are lost! wish I could swear on here because there would be alot of F bombs written here. HORRIBLE !!!!!!

Horrible service. No such thing as loyalty. Marriott or IHG would be much better choice.

AWFUL - just learned that my points had expired - without receiving their so-called email notification. Called customer service manager and he actually offered for me to buy our points back - now that's great service, right???? Told him to close our account of 20 years unless he was willing to reinstate our points - account is closed - we will NOT stay at any Hilton property in the future - hope our dissatisfaction was worth it to their future lack of revenues.

I have a hiltons hotel rewards card and have for many years. I used to like staying at the Hilton. That was ruined this morning by a very rude employee and manager of the Home 2 Suites by Hilton just off Oak St. in Conway, AR. I have never had any hotel personnel ever speak to me in the manner in which those individuals did. They obviously only work to amuse themselves. They were of no help to me in the least and threatened me as well. I will never darken their doors again. It has soured me to Hilton for sure. Almost Everything about the stay was horrible. The heater blew out cold air more than heat, the hallway was freezing, and the phone line by the bed had been cut and didn’t work. The... Read More

Diamond member for years and just was told I have to pay a $ 50 fee to get out of advanced purchase even though I was willing to rebook at same hotel two weeks later when meeting was rescheduled. Loyalty with Hilton is no longer rewarded.

The hilton honors price match guarantee sucks. The folks assigned to price match are always looking for a way to weasel out of it. As a loyal gold Hilton Honors member I booked with Hilton even though there was a cheaper price at expedia thinking Hilton would honor their price match guarantee. Made a claim and the person assigned to processing it denied the claim stating that the room category was different. Asked her to match the price match the same room category at expedia which she refused to do so Im stuck with a higher price being a loyal Hilton Honors Gold member! If I find a cheaper price at another site in future i will book it, because in my experience the price match guarantee... Read More

Terrible Customer Service and take no accountability for their actions. 3 consecutive mistakes by Hilton website, employees and the inability to make things right ruined my vacation. Their mistakes costs me over 800$ USD and they categorically refused to do anything to make it right. I was a member since 2014 and now I will be taking my business to Bonvoy.

as a Hilton hhonors diamond member I don't like that my price for a nights stay is the same as aarp . I stay with Hilton for 50 to 60 nights a year and I get the same price as anyone that stays once and is over 50 years old. no incentive for loyalty.

Just would like for you to know that, so far, the only reason we keep Hilton Honors is because you have the Hampton Inns on your list. Most of the other ones are not worth staying at. The Hampton is very consistent with their good service, clean rooms, and having everything that works properly. We just stayed in another one of your motels in Yuma, Az. and Monrovia Ca. Neither one had free breakfast or coffee bars. In one of them the floor had not been vacuumed and the AC did not work. I had it on as low as it could go and we slept with the covers off. In another one we had someone else's blood on our sheet. No excuse. Thank you for having the Hampton. They need Kudos.

Hilton Honors Customer Experience leaves me wondering if Customer Experience matters and based on our (The Customer) experience, would suggest a tremendous amount of improvement is required. I would believe a Net Promoter Score based on our experience would be a zero. At least 10 calls, at least 6 hours talking to at least 8 different people to resolve a simple Be My Guest Certificate Extension. (All documented in the HH system). The Guest Services rep cannot even understand the previous documentation. I sent two emails to Hilton Honors offering up to dialogue about the experience with my contact information, but no acknowledgement or response was received.

They can't get my account information correct and they aren't willing to make the slightest effort to assist me in fixing my account. I receive emails from Hilton Honors informing me of my current points and notifying me that they are expiring soon. I couldn't remember my username and password so I tried to request a password reset, but it wouldn't let me do so without entering my username. It is the only site I've ever seen that didn't have a "forgot user name" button. The emails they send have not listed a customer id# so I don't know that info. either. So I try to set up a new account but I can't because it says "that email is already on file". So I contact Customer Service.... Read More

I travel a lot for work so staying in a quality hotel makes a big difference for me. Hilton has the best honors program I've seen and they always take care of me no matter where I travel to. The staff is always friendly and whenever I need something, they are always more than willing to help me get there. Whether it's directions, something for the room or I forgot something for my trip, they are always there to help.
