Keeps is a health care company that offers treatments for men who are suffering from hair loss. The company works with licensed physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare specialists to provide customers with products clinically proven to combat Male Pattern Baldness (MPB).

Hair Loss Products and Treatments

Keeps works directly with drug manufacturers and licensed physicians to diagnose and prescribe hair loss medications to consumers. Customers visit keeps.com and submit an online consultation. A licensed physician reviews their information, diagnoses their hair loss, and prescribes the best treatment plan for them. Keeps then sends a three-month treatment and ensures and send more every three months. Customers are proactively contacted by their doctor to make sure the treatment is working as intended, and care specialists are available to answer questions. Keeps provides an online tracker for customers to monitor their progress.

Keeps sells finasteride (generic Propecia®) and minoxidil (generic Rogaine®). Finasteride works on the hairline, crown, and vertex, and has been proven to reduce hair loss and even stop it altogether. Minoxidil is a topical treatment that helps grow thicker, longer hair. It is applied twice a day to the scalp and works best for the crown and vertex regions of the head. Both products are clinically proven to be effective, backed by scientific research, recommended by licensed physicians, and FDA-approved.

Both Propecia® and Rogaine® may cause side-effects, although these are rare and generally mild.

Hair Loss Treatments at Keeps

Keeps is more restrictive with its product's usage than other hair treatment companies are. The company's two treatment options are only recommended for use by men, and customers must get a prescription before purchasing finasteride. Moreover, there is no money-back guarantee. However, the price is also on the lower side, making Keeps an excellent choice for male consumers who are looking for treatment for their hair loss at an affordable price.

I've been using Keeps for almost three years now. ALMOST THREE YEARS. I use minoxidil, finasteride and the 2% ketoconazole shampoo and while it all may slow down or stop your hair loss, it won't regrow your hair. False advertising on Keeps' part. The only solution would be hair transplant surgery, which I cannot afford at this time.

They took my money and asked for scalp pictures which were sent. No response at all. No nothing. They just take your money and run. Don't use them.

DO NOT USE KEEPS! I received awful customer service from a Supervisor named Danny C. Keeps has a very strict policy and they DO NOT ALLOW REFUNDS, even for unused or undelivered products. They sent me a package to my old address and I asked them to cancel the order because I moved and in general was no longer interested. Keeps refused to entertain the idea of any sort of refund. For an eCommerce company, this is absolutely insane. They have an automatic subscription that sends out your prescription without even reminding you. Then when you call to try and cancel the shipment, they refuse to do so. The awful thing about Keeps is their customer service Supervisor, particularly Danny... Read More

Man you guys are really playing on young guys emotions and hair loss. I am 60, been through it and it is devastating beyond description. Your product will help maintain, but it will not bring back a hair line. Just be more realistic with what results are possible. That's all. Jay

Warning don't give them money until you talk to a doctor especially if you are on other medication. No Refunds. I will start by saying my brother uses keeps and has great success so this has nothing to do with the prescriptions or drugs they offer but rather a warning to those who are just trying to learn if this would be a good option or are on other medication. I was looking into Keeps to see if it would be a good fit as I am on other medication. As I went through their website took the survey and filled out the information I was asked to put my credit card information in. This was the first mistake. I was then charge $75 dollars and then told a doctor would consult with me. The... Read More

The drops and foam made my scalp very dry and itchy, I think it made my hair fall out faster.

I continued to loss hair even four months into the treatment but I kept buying because they say it takes time to work. Fast forward to month 8 or 9 and my hair loss starts getting way worse. Despite using this regularly (I used the typical 90 day products of the pills and topical hair drops, not the foam) my hair did not get stronger and did not stop falling out. When I consulted with the doctor Keeps assigned to me he said it does not work for everyone and I might need a hair transplant. Now I know why Keeps does not have customer reviews on their website.

I tried Keeps out when I found my hair line thinning. I subscribed for a 90-day bottle of their finasteride every three months. A month into the treatment, my mental health saw a sharp decline. I stopped taking the pills and 5 days later (which my Keeps doctor told me was the average time for the medicine to leave the body) my mental health returned to normal. In that time I saw no significant change to my hair thickness. I don't know if someone with a more robust brain chemistry might see real success or not over a longer period of time, but if you struggle with depression, I don't recommend their finasteride pills. The real problem is how their website functions. I forgot to cancel my... Read More

These guys make you pay for the meds FIRST. Then they have a doctor do an online consultation who warns you about several unpleasant possible side effects. After reviewing the side effects, if you decide against it, they DON"T REFUND YOUR MONEY. THEY KEEP IT. That's the genius of their name....KEEPS. What kind of ethical medical practice works this way? 1. Patients are made to pay for meds first before consultation. 2. Doctor warns you of side effects. 3. You change your mind - They KEEP your money. How is this legal?

I have a receding hairline. I sent pictures and answered their questions showing what my issue is. They prescribe what they said was best. When I received the shipment the foam that sent me clearly states it is not for receding hairlines. It is only for balding at the crown. I asked for a refund as they gave me a prescription for a "drug" that is not used for my issue. They sold me just to get my money.

Save your money and your scalp. Within a week my scalp broke out in sores. I had a consultation with one of their in house doctors whom told me to stop using the product. I asked to cancel. I have since been billed for two additional cycles at around $123 each, so nearly $400 wasted in total including the initial order. When I asked about getting refunded for the two orders since finding I am allergic, considering they never should have even been shipped, their rep said something along the lines of, “sorry, the pharmacy has already shipped the product, so we cannot give you a refund .” Seems like if they failed to cancel my subscription it would be their responsibility if the pharmacy... I have used these products for around six months. I bought pills and liquid, but I haven't seen any change but more hair loss. Then I sent and an email to keeps explaining the situation. Here is the part of the email I received. " It's also important to remember that these treatments are largely preventative measures that work best at stopping further hair loss." So they are conflicting with themselves. In the ads, they say, your hair regrow, but once you see the real results, they will say it is only to stop hair loss. The advertisements you share on Facebook and Instagram show bold people get hair after using your products, but this was not the case for me at all. I started to file a... Read More

The product was fine. I had some mild side effects and canceled my subscription on 6/20/20 via the website through my doctor messaging. I was informed last week another order had been processed. I contacted my doctor again(2nd cancellation) and informed him I wasn't interested in renewing my subscription. He informed me to contact customer support and provided me with an email. I emailed customer support informing them that I had not renewed since the last time I canceled my subscription(3rd cancellation) and they told me that I needed to do it through the website. The website won't allow me to click the "review your plan" button. It shows up as grey and unable to be clicked. I... Read More

I used the minoxidil solution for about 2 days before I started to notice a rash on the top of my head. Within 3 more days it was burning continuously and scabs had formed. It was then that I stopped using it. A week after that I started to get a painful and itchy rash behind my ears. Now, a month later, that rash has spread onto my ears, my whole neck, my face, and my arms. I used the medication for a total of 5 days and have had a rash for over a month now. I told them that I wanted a refund and they basically said, "too bad". Aside from the minoxidil, definitely make sure to read the possible side effects of the finasteride. It's terrifying. I don't know what I was thinking when I... Read More

Was looking for a topical treatment but was sent a prescription (finasteride) that comes with a list of possible side effects was unbelievable. From what I read it's a prostate medication that might slow or stop a receding hairline. When contacted they refused to resolve the issue. I was left with a bottle of pills I was not willing to take and out $75. Horrible customer service.

The company is very difficult to deal with and has some questionable business practices. I tried signing up for one of their discounted trial offers, but after receiving my first bottle I thought it might be best to check with my GP first. My GP recommended not adding this medication, so I thought "Oh well, waste of $25." I used the online form to cancel since I'd heard of people having problems with timing (e.g. "We're sorry, your shipment has already been processed for this cycle") and thought that it would be better to leave a clearer paper trail. But now 3 months later I got billed again and contacted the company directly. To my surprise they "don't have a record of my... Read More

Don't waste your money here. Called to cancel my subscription ahead of the November 2019 date that customer support provided me and such a coincidence my "most recent order" was processed ahead of time and I was being billed. Scam artists. Save your money and use it elsewhere on a more viable product.

If you do a bit of research you will find that you can get the same exact formulations much cheaper by getting it yourself. First, make an appointment with a dermatologist and they will give you a prescription for finasteride. If you have insurance, a 90 day supply of generic finasteride will cost you $7 at Costco pharmacy. You can also order a 3 month supply of 5% Rogaine Foam from Walmart for about $45. So if you do the math,: Keeps = $105 every 3 months Doing it yourself = $52 every 3 months (could be even less if you buy Costco's Kirkland brand 5% Minoxidil) By the way, the formulation of finasteride + minoxidil will help you maintain the hair you have, but it won't grow new... Incorrectly charged me for three months of medication (eighty dollars!) after I had cancelled my subscription. Then they just said they were unable to find any record of the call and have been fighting me on it for two months now through my bank. Honestly, who cares if their service works or not, this place will just rob you blind.
