I bought 4 roll-up blinds that said room darkening they let in a lot of light. I am very disappointed in them I had older blinds that blocked the light I paid a lot for them.

Absolutely terrible company. No-one should ever by these blinds. Their product broke within the warranty period. Now the replacement blinds don't exist, so the next version, is not compatible with the older remote. And you will be told, sorry, you need to use 2 remotes (completely unacceptable) And by the way the next version of the blinds - don't have a battery pack you can replace easily. The new blind has a rechargable battery - you need to go up 30 feet and hook a charger - to an extension cord - and charge for 4-6 hours. What a joke - stay away from all other products.

Roughly 3-1/2 years ago I purchased 3 sets of Levolor, faux wood, 2”, plantation blind’s when I built another structure. Within 6 months one set broke the center guide string. Considering the blinds still would operate and looked normal, I left it without the center string. Yesterday, without anyone touching the blinds, the second set had the ladder string fail and now half of the blinds slats are cockeyed and dropped down free from the head rail. After speaking with a polite customer service representative, I discovered my blinds should be covered under warranty but due to my not having the receipt from when my contractor purchased the blinds, Levolor will not stand behind their products... I just purchased over $2000 of, "smart home integration," levolor blinds. They are in fact, NOT able, to connect to a smart home until you spend an additional $250 for their, "hub." A google/apple hub costs $100 and is the brain of your smart home. It is hard to conceive what Levolor is doing with this marketing strategy other than attempting to swindle customers who have already paid thousands of dollars on their blinds. Levolor is an absolutely disgusting company. Everyone do yourself a favor and order blinds from a company that respects its customers and does not employ these business tactics.

I order blinds from Lowes on 5/26/23 we still do not have them after multiple date of deliver promises. After many calls they told us they were shipped and refused to over night them. One excuse after another. Not sure if Lowes dropped the ball or Levolor did. Poor customer service at best

Wow. We have had levelor blinds for approx 12 years. We ran into a small issue and we were treated with outstanding service. Sandy, the customer service representative of North Carolina was very caring and did a great job. It is rare to see a high standard of customer service these days. I ordered three sheer motorized solar blinds. Very nice looking blinds. The same motorized blind however has malfunction and needed to be replaced twice in two years. Replacement products have taken over 2 weeks to arrive. Most recently, I encountered the issue of the battery pack for a blind shorted out two separate motorized blind assemblies. Levolor takes zero responsibility for installation and/or repair. So I'm left to fend for myself or pay hundreds of dollars in labor for an install technician to make a trip for a 20 minute project. I have spent $3863.27 on Levelor shades for my home. Quality issues have been required replacement of a bedroom cellular black-out shade that developed light pin holes. A living room solar shade continuous chain break and today a family room solar shade continuous chain break. It appears the solar shade chain failure is due to the chain not being heavy enough to lower and retract the solar shades. All of these issues happened in 2021 and today February 1, 2023. I purchased Levelor products based on product quality. It appears I was wrong.

I helped a neighbor who had purchased Levolor blinds from Lowes (made in Mexico) install them or more accurately stated try to install them. What a sorry example of quality control these blinds are. My wife and I have bought Levolor blinds long ago when they were of excellent quality but no more since Levolor has outsourced their production to another country. We purchased Levolor shutters from Lowes 11 years ago. They said they had a 25 year warranty, however all they do is send you "clips" and expect you to figure out how to do your own repairs. Not even detailed information. 80% of our shutters have broken, and we are a childless couple - I can just imagine if we had a family using them! I would not recommend this company. Blinded by the light! The good news, a great price but the bad news has been that 2 weeks for production and installation is approaching 4 months for delivery and installation. One delivery date after another has passed as we wait for parts on the automated blinds and they will not ship or install the other blinds that are not automated separately, so we have no blinds in our new bedrooms and in the mountains sun up can be earlier than I would like in my bedroom.

I would give them zero starts if that was an option. We ordered blinds from Levolor on 7/5/2022 with an estimated delivery date of 8/4/2022. When the blinds didn't show up, I called to check on them. I was then given a date of 9/20/2022 because they were waiting on parts for the motors. Then I got another call saying the ship date would be 9/22/22. Guess what? I called on 9/23/22 to see if they shipped and now I am told they will not have the parts until 10/10 and will ship on 10/18/22. I worked in purchasing for over 20 years. They seem like the Peloton maker of blinds, they accept orders and money but have no intention of an on-time installation. I have gone from a 2 week installation expectation originally to about two months after two delays on delivery if they make that date. It's really tough to earn a decent review after that poor level of service even if they arrive in September and are wonderful blinds. It is far better to under-promise and over-deliver than over promise and not deliver.

I bought 7 Levolor Blinds 2in. faux wood blinds. It's been a year now, and 3 of the blinds have already snapped because of the cheap thread that holds these blinds together. I can no longer raise up the blinds, I have to keep them down all the time now. If I want to take them back, I'll need to take out the hardware and box all this up to return or exchange them. I do not recommend buying this product.

We special ordered Levolor natural shades (Java Cappuccino) thru Home Depot and received them in Nov. 2021. They were available with no liner, light filtering or room darkening. We ordered light filtering but upon receipt they appeared to be room darkening. We held a flashlight up to the back of the shades and it didn’t shine through. Home Depot was great to work with but Levolor insisted we received light filtering. They said they had changed liners about a year earlier and it was normal for darker shade colors to have a different liner than lighter shade colors would. We ordered about $1200 worth of faux wood blinds in about September 2021. They arrived around January, 2022. Not complaining about the supply chain issues, etc. due to Covid. The blinds arrived damaged, due to inadequate packaging. I reported the details of the inadequate packaging and indicated that if the packaging was not improved, any subsequent blinds would also arrive dented. I waited another 6 weeks and the replacement blinds arrived...you guessed it...damaged in exactly the same place as the first set. Waited another six weeks for the replacement set. VERY UNHAPPY with these spring loaded hangers for the 1" min blinds. It seems your template doesn't account for the string mechanism for raising and lowering the blinds. Now I have a few holes in my window frame.

A few years ago we purchased the blackout cellular shades. They are very practical and the looks is good. Just last year we had to send two of them to repair due to the retractable system not working. The first one was replaced with a new one, it took two weeks for us to received. The second one, we were told to mail back for repair. It has been a month and they are not giving us an estimated time for us to get it back, because repairs are sent to Mexico. Definitely room for improvement.

A few years ago we purchased roman shade blinds for our entire house. Five of them were for large windows. It wasn't long before the cords began to break and the plastic mechanism that held the cords wore out and had to be replaced. Levolor did send replacements for cords. Then the cords that run through the shades to lift them began to break. Levolor was good enough to replace the shades. But, they didn't go all the way up by about 15 inches. The only difference in the old and new shades was a new header that should not be a factor in how high the shades went up. We would call them and they would make another. 4/23/2021: We purchased 7 of the custom Levolor Sheer Shade 'motorized' blinds three weeks ago through Lowes $4,800 and have had nothing but issues. We sat on hold for over an hour 2X waiting for a Levelor customer service rep and never reached a live person. They gave an automated option to key in our # for quicker return call (haha) and they returned my call 2 days later, when I was at work. The Lowes blinds repair man came last week (week two of ownership) and spent 2.5 hours troubleshooting. Now, yesterday (week 3 of ownership) 3 are again not functioning! ALL 7 have had problems. I have 7 windows with Levolor mini blinds. Over the years they have been washed several time, always happy with the blinds. I needed to replace a dog damaged set of blinds. I held off as long as I could but they were getting pretty bad. I purchased a new Levolor mini blind to replace the old one. The quality of this blind is horrible. Won't raise or lower with out first changing the angle, metal slats are considerably thinner and flimsy. I am now looking to exchange from another window of the same size a 15 year old Levolor for the newer one. Very disappointed. Maybe someone makes a better quality mini blind.

Very bad engineering on the mounting brackets. The channel on the head of the blind that the tongue of the bracket engages is narrower than the tongue itself. Almost impossible to get it to engage. You'll notice the problem as soon as you unpack the box, because the mounting brackets are shipped inplace on the head of the blind. Good luck getting them off so you can attach them to the wall. The few brackets that I finally did get to engage required a tremendous about of force. These blinds were the "Cellular Shade" model. I'll never buy them again--worthless. You'll do better just hanging a sheet over your window.

We spent almost a thousand dollars last year, installing Levolor cordless cellular shades throughout our home. The shades that rarely get used work fine, but the bedroom shades get used every day and the retractors go bad within a couple of months. I've had Lowe's replace them a few times under warranty, but now the year is over and I'm on my own and will have to replace them out of pocket. I will find another brand and style of that will hold up to repeated use.
