Not sure yet. But I received no order confirmation. There is more than 1/2 wait on phone and they do not accept email inquiries. So......... We'll see by the end the day. CC said order went through, but I'm going to need my confirmation information today or I will be take my large order elsewhere.
(1) I ordered 2 vertical blinds on 7 December 2023, order #13114752; they shipped 14 December - so no problem there. (2) Estimated delivery by 27 December (2 weeks in transit) - but the truck line took just under 5 weeks (33 days) to move these 2 blinds from TX to FL (a 3-day drive)! (3) Online tracking was useless - on both the blinds.com and truck line websites - no current info was ever uploaded. Blinds.com offered NO help to track the blinds or speed their delivery. They said the trucking industry is in chaos (way behind), and that they had no leverage over the truck line so it was between me and the truck line. Ordered blinds for my new house. Out of 10 windows 9 were wrong size (measured by their installer) and/or product. Two months later no replacement.
Keep getting runaround and replacement orders keep getting cancelled.
Considering legal action
Ordered blinds for new house. Was disappointed at first after receiving notice that my order was delayed but it wasn't a big issue for me since these are custom sized. However, the blinds actually arrived earlier than expected. Quality is excellent and they look terrific. Installation was a breeze. Love them!!!!
Let me first say, that I am 17 days outside of the 30 day satisfaction guarantee window. I ordered $3000 worth of blinds. 1 Roman Shade - its fine...not great quality, but it's ok. 2 Motorized Sheer Shades - Quality is low end but the motor works. Programming both blinds to work with one remote will take an engineering degree. The instructions are worthless, as is "customer service". 6, yes 6 Room Darkening Sheer Shades. As with the motorized, the quality is low end but here's the thing. Website is great. Ordered blinds for ten windows. Also ordered the installation service. Communication was awesome with the installation service. They came out and confirmed our measurements and order. We were surprised when our blinds arrived because there was no communication from the manufacturer. The installation service contacted us and we scheduled the install. The installer arrived on time and did a fantastic job. Here is where things went off the rails. There were no tilt rods included in the shipment for half the blinds. The installer said all I needed to do was contact blinds.com and have them send the tilt rods out. That was TWELVE weeks ago. OK So first let me say..."This was completely consumer (my)fault. Throughout the years, I have used blinds.com to custom fit my entire home. Adding two new windows, of course, I need two new blinds. We set out to measure the windows and low and behold, measured them incorrectly. Also, the other blinds all have tilt cords, we ordered wands. Nope..Bad all the way around. So, of course, I beat my husband up a little and bit the bullet to re-order. I was very upset by blinds.com's unwillingness to stand behind their product. Our first purchase of three blinds for a west-facing bay window from blinds.com is still in great shape with no flaws. Our second purchase, made in 2017, has started to come apart and is now in two pieces from where it totally split across the middle. This is obviously a manufacturing flaw; however, the company service representative said that they will not make it right as the product is out of warranty. I get that, but am very disappointed that they won't even offer a discount or anything on a replacement. Good product. Terrible customer service. The product was ordered on 5/19/23. Shipment arrived on 6/15/23. But the hardware was missing. I reported the missing hardware on 6/17/23. Customer services would not overnight the missing parts. I was told 5-7 business days for missing parts delivery. At 8 business days, I do not have the hardware. I do not even have a tracking number.
I have spent so much time on the phone getting the run-around from Blind.com.
Blinds.com made a mistake, that happens. Blinds.com should correct the mistake ASAP. That is not happening. Bad customer service.
DO NOT USE THEIR BLINDS INSTALLATION SERVICES. AARON (father) and JACK (his son) are thieves. Jack a 20ish young man was welcomed into our home this early 2023 to install our blinds, from BLINDS.COM and while he was installing 24 blinds, he stole 5-6 boxes of 50 bullets from a case we had opened in our master's bedroom dresser, on the very opposite wall from the windows so he was snooping. I felt violated, disrespected, unsafe, and very angry after this ordeal. BLINDS.COM and HOMEDEPOT just never did anything about this. I'm reading these reviews AFTER buying one of their products online. Sure don't seem too smaahht now! At first I just wanted to confirm my suspicions that blinds dot com is the same company as justblinds dot com, and both companies I ordered samples from have the same address, however I received only one batch of samples. Look, I KNOW, the blinds are actually made in China or even worse and direct shipped here, that's why it takes a month to get a two day turnaround product..... that's why the customer service is terrible if there are any problems. I have used blinds.com in the past for my own home and was very pleased. Shipping was fast. My husband and I went into the rental business and needed blinds. Ordered again and was very pleased with the product and received them very quickly. Then, I made another order on Dec 8. When I made the order, the estimated shipping time was Dec 23. Fine. I received an email from Blinds.com on Dec 19 saying the blinds were in the way. They had labels made and were waiting for pickup on Dec 16. It is now Jan 4 and the blinds I ordered are STILL sitting someplace waiting to be picked up. Their delivery system is just awful. You receive a shipping notice from them but your packages are still not shipped. After they send you a shipping notification, your packages stay in their warehouse for at least a week. Yes, you heard right. They said the packages were awaiting for pick up by FedEx and did not change the statue over the week. My case were twice just like that. Plus, they are offering discount year-round. However, regardless of all sort if different discount offered, the final price is always the same. There are many other good blinds stores online. If you want to receive the product within a reasonable time, order it elsewhere else.
I ordered my blinds in August, they arrived on September 23rd horribly damaged. I called immediately and spoke with Justin C. who was very nice. He indicated that they would remake all 3 blinds and they should arrive on Oct 15th. I pointed out that one of the blinds looked "ok", only a little damage. He guided me to keep that one and return the other 2 that were very damaged. However, he indicated that they would remake all 3 and I could use the one I kept for spare parts. He even went as far to say "you don't really need to return the other 2", but I told him and the shipper to take them as I did not want the hassle of throwing such large items out. I ordered 3 blinds over a month ago. 2 came without the mounting hardware. The 3rd took 3 times as long as originally promised. I called for the mounting hardware and it still is not here two weeks later. Calling customer service gets you noncommittal answers and weasel words. Don't do it!
I ordered blinds for 5 windows. 2 of 5 shades did not work. They re-made 1 twice and ended up with a different type of shade. 1 still doesn’t work but I gave up. Buyer beware…
Pros: Blinds a beautiful and fit perfectly. Quick shipping. Cons: I forgot to order tie downs and there is absolutely nothing they can do to retrofit the bottom rails. We got tie down brackets but when we put them in, they pull the endcaps right out of the bottom rails. It's unimaginable to me that in this day and age there is absolutely no way to retrofit our blinds to accept tie downs. They would be happy to have me place another order to replace these but that is not financially feasible. Hoping the wind doesn't get too bad and bash these blinds around. Blinds.com has been the worst ecommerce experience I have ever had! They truly do not care about their customers and have no sense of customer service at all. I originally ordered custom blinds for what will be my baby’s nursery. I got a great deal on the black friday sale and I fell pregnant shortly after. It was just perfect and I thought I would have my baby’s curtains waaay before my August due date as the ship date was originally posted as Jan 12-20. January 20th came and went. I am so disappointed with the customer service at Blinds.com. I purchased a blind, it arrived with misrepresented and incomplete instructions. The pulls were not attached, so it would not roll up and down. Yet the instructions showed the pulls attached. It was defective. They sent me a replacement. I hired a professional to install and it is inoperable. I took pictures of the blind, the instructions and sent to Allegro at Blinds.com. It's been over 2 weeks and still do not have a refund. I would highly discourage ordering from this company.
I bought a shade from blinds.com 18 months ago. Almost two months ago, the shade broke. There is a 3-year warranty on the shade. The company sent a replacement part. It was too large. Then the company sent a replacement shade. That was too large too. Now they offered to send the first part again. I no longer trust this company to honor their warranty, as expected.
Don't use them
We ordered 5 Roman Shades in October 2021 for oversized windows at our cabin. We received them in December 2021. When they arrived, the boxes they came in were pretty beat up. Huge holes and tears in the boxes that it went through and ripped the plastic that covered the blinds. I took pictures of everything. When we drove the 100 miles to our cabin to install them we found out that we received only one set of hardware to install them. The one installation bar that we did receive was loose in the box because of the tear in the plastic and it somehow came out during shipping. My latest purchsse from this company was terrible. I ordred 2 sets of composite shutters. They came in on time but one set arrived damaged with bad scratches dug into them. I reported it to 3 different representatives, sending sets of pictures showing the damage to two of them, and I sent the measurements of the damage panel to the third representative. The third rep came back and ask me to send a video. I gave up. I had been fooled thinking that they would help me resolve my problem but I came to realize that they were just passing me along stringing me along. I am still waiting for my vertical cellular shades to be delivered. They were supposed to be delivered last week but no one told me when, and I did not provide our guard gate with entry permission. They took the shades back to the warehouse. I called and scheduled an appointment for today, between 1 and 5 pm. I took time off from work, concerned about weather if the shades were left outside, and contacted the guard gate to allow entry to our community. No blinds were delivered.
