Horrible business practices! Last week, I paid my final car note and instead of updating my online account to show an additional payoff balance, the company sent me a delinquency notice in the mail. Neither of the customer service reps offered an apology or a clear explanation as to why I was notified in such an insulting way, and I never received a response from two online inquiries. Additionally, I was given three different amounts owed, so I won't be surprised if the company tries to tack on additional fees. This is not how you treat customers.

Horrible customer service! Apparently they can’t do anything without “the system” telling them to do it. Not terribly intelligent phone support agents. They can only regurgitate what their computer screen tells them.

Awful finance company. My worst nightmare is making every 2 weeks payments. They then have added $65 late fees on & applied my payments wrong each and every time. When I do call them they tell me they are not in the USA ? What the crap. I emailed President Trump while he was in office about this bull crap company ripping off consumers.

I am currently leasing through them and it seems like they are going back to the payments i made before i had hardship with a job. I pay 672 a month and they make it hard for me and my personal life. They want all their money at once instead of every 2 weeks or however much you get paid. I have tried refinancing multiple times and they will not let me go to another lender. If i could, I would give them a -40 because of customer service and they played me because I got my car from a 3rd party (TrueCar) and my payments were actually suppose to be 540 a month with NO money down plus my old credit score. ever since ive been financing with them, my credit score has been going down

Chrysler Capital AND their "partner" Santander Consumer USA - some sort of foreign credit card company.... all located in Manila and can't speak in a way to be understood. Not a good representative of Chrysler Capital ! But then you have to ask, "Why when Chrysler Capital owes a customer money rather than sending a check to the customer, they send a dubious "cash card" from Santander which has all sorts of issues and time wasting steps that don't work as described. Very disappointed with FCA and Chrysler Capital in addition to the two lemon vehicles we purchased... 2020 Dodge Ram and a 2018 Pacifica - both JUNK. Never Chrysler products again.... after being a loyal Chrysler /... Read More

I will never lease or purchase a vehicle from this company again (Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler). I just started my 3rd lease with this company. Chrysler Capital's auto-payment policy is to cancel auto-payment before your last payment is made. They say this is so they do not continue to collect auto-payments from customers. Well then why not stop auto-pay after the last payment is made instead? Anyway, I now have a late payment on my credit which messed up my home renovation loan I was in the middle to obtaining. They refuse to help me after many calls into them. I have been polite every time I have called. Asked for removal of late payment in "goodwill". The last person I spoke with hung... Read More

If I could leave no stars I would! This is absolutely the worst company that I have ever financed through! My ex-husbands car was stolen over 5 years ago. Thank goodness the insurance allowed a payoff to go through. I called multiple times in an attempt to settle for the amount of the check. The first rep told me that I had to have the check in hand before settling. I later found out that the insurance company would be sending the check directly to Chrysler Capital. I attempted to call again and was informed by the rep that the amount was already settled or they wouldn’t have accepted the check from the insurance company, she assured me there was nothing left for me to do aside from wait... Run! Do not finance with them. First the dealership managed to add $3900 of warranties and maintenance by having me do a Digital signature on a document without showing it to me or discussing it with me. Secondly they gave a me a 4.65% interest rate. My credit score is above 841! Of course I immediately refinanced with my bank, saving thousands in interest. They cashed the bank draft on June 18th, loan paid in full. They turned around and processed a payment on June 24th on a loan that had zero balance. So now they are holding $4000+ of my money for another 30 days because they want to make sure the bank draft was real. RUN, don’t walk, away from any dealership that tries to... Read More

I would give 0 stars if i could. It is a scam of a company that will keep charging you and charging you for bs claims and then you have no power to fight them! Their customer service is the worst and they will bleed you dry, aside from the monthly payments. Do NOT finance with them.

I decided to purchase the car I had been leasing through Chrysler Capital. They acknowledged the receipt of my payment in their records as of May 14, 2021. It is now June 18 and I am still waiting for a title transfer. Called and was told it had been mailed a week ago. Still no title. They have had my money for 35 days and I have a car I can not drive. This long delay is costing me money. Needless to say I will never lease a car through Chrysler Capital again. Am considering sending my complaint to their State Department of Consumer Affairs and Attorney Generals Office.

Run to any other finance company. Chrysler Capital is an automated, poorly run, virtual company that is in the process of ruining my credit over a car that was traded in months ago. I was never late with a payment. Traded in for another Chrysler and the thank you I got was, "we're sorry, but we are having difficulty closing your account because the dealer sent us 27 cents too much." They are reporting my account late and owing $7000 dollars to Experian and I don't know who else. They can't or won't close the account because it has 27 cents too much in it.

Don't Do It! RUN!!! HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE. UNACCREDITED BY THE BBB!!! There is No customer service They will lie and mislead you and not think twice about it. They deserve a lawsuit.. Oh wait they're being sued out of business.. Well Santander is at least.. I wonder how Chrysler had manager to pull it together to buy back their old finance company after such hardship. It truly seems like Karma waging war on FCA for ripping people off for decades and literally not caring enough to even have customer service.

Chrysler Capital is a bank that stays strict with their policy. Customer care is non existent when it comes to their policies. If their policies states you are over the past due date even when you worked out payment plans with them about how to pay them. Your account will still be filed according to their policies for repossession. So what I am saying do not waste your time explaining your current situation with this bank they do not care for customer service and care. You can have a near life and death situation, fighting court cases, behind on corporations not paying you back on time, at the verge of going homeless because of all the above to them to put it plainly you can have the... 36 years lof borrowing from from reputable companies Chrysler Capital is the worst customer service I have ever received. They have made so many mistakes in accounting it was obvious something was very wrong with them. No mistake Chrysler Capital has defrauded the vast majority of their costumers. 34 states have taken action against under the Attorney General. Massachusetts residents have been paid back over 31 million in damages after Attorney General Healy took action against Chrysler Capital. They are not a bank. Do not waste your hard earned dollars. There are plenty of lenders who will treat you fairly and work hard to service you with loan.

Th e lease team, who are meant to guide you failed to mention if I returned the car early I would be charged the vehicle price or difference in value in an auction. I paid the lease of in advance, it only had 20,000 mile on the car, not the 45,000 I was allocated. When I called the lease department to start the return process they did not mention about the early termination. It may be in the contract, but what is the point in the department if they do not care for their customers

Leased Fiat, and now Fiat dealerships are closed in region, and no Chrysler dealership will take car (unless I buy another) and Chrysler wont come get it. I have paid end of lease fees and all payments. Been on the phone with CCap every few days trying to get car back to them. Today found I am reported delinquent and Credit is fucked. Literally last week got pre-approval on real estate loan. Not once has Chrysler mentioned a delinquency in the constant conversations I've been having with. Apparently when they disallow Autopay for the final payment it makes you late. They dont say a thing outside of a letter I missed? This is nothing but a fee trap Chrysler slips by you for a few extra... Read More

They are the #1 reason never to buy a Chrysler Product They simply could care less about helping their customers - - see below same story of miscues. Paid a car off almost a month ago, they shut off auto payments, now account is past due as they have not closed the account after many attempts calling them and emailing them. Answer is well we are working on it and we are bothering them with our request and as long as we get it done by Sept 5th you will not get a report sent to the credit agency - - GREAT, that helps a ton. We know based on below I will be writing to all three credit agencies................................ The customer reviews are a great case for an attorney to start a... Read More

The absolute worst company ever. Repossessed auto after I got behind but called to work out a payment plan. They were not even willing to work a deal. I finally came up with all the money I was behind and they said no they only wanted the entire amount owed and I had 6 days before it was auctioned off to get it back. If I had the full amount I wouldn't be financing. They auctioned it off and have now attached a claim against my credit report for over $11,000 and each month are reporting me as late paying

Purchased a van from dealership. I gave dealership proof of income when purchased at dealership. 3 days before first payment is due, dealership calls me and tells me this place needed 3 months of proof of income. I am a disabled veteran and receive VA and social security income. Getting 3 months of proof could take 6-8 weeks just on VA alone. What I had gave them already was from late last year when I refi. my house. That wasn't good enough for them. So, I had to pay out of pocket to get what they wanted from my bank. Then, 4 days before plates are due for the first time, wife goes to BMV for plates. After standing in line for a long time, gets to speak to someone at BMV, they don't have... Read More

Terrible. They tried blaming all of there shortcomings on the dealer and charged me late fees for a due date they screwed up for months until I caught on and then refused to fix the issues on my account. Plus they make it rather difficult to set up autopay. I will not be using them again for financing. Not a consumer-friendly bank. I am disgusted at the way I was treated. It's only recently gotten bad I have had multiple loans through them before. Beware.

My father passed away and had purchased a new truck just a few months prior. A week after his passing I began to contact all the places he had credit with or may have any sort of balance with. I probably called 20 other business like credit card companies, banks, utilities and so on before calling Chrysler Capitol. Every one handled the call very well and were very helpful. The state where my father passed takes roughly 3 weeks to generate a death certificate and another three to open probate so no documentation was available yet other than the obituary. The credit card companies even accepted this as proof. Chrysler Capitol gave me the single worst customer service I have ever... Read More

i have financed several trucks/jeeps through chrysler capital, its been a fairly easy process, got a preapproval and then wrestled with the dealer for the interest rate. only issue I ever had was getting my title after i paid off one of my trucks, it seems common senses isnt common. anyway i just bought yet another New jeep .. seems that most of the issues with chrysler capital are the dealer personel. I'll pay this one off early or trade in a year and get something else...but for the moment its all good
