This company sucks!! i called to get a repair on my refrigerator , they were 2 weeks out. told them I would check elsewhere, she went ahead and made an appt for me anyway. Took me 3 days and holding on the line for over an hour just to cancel!! never use them!!!

OMG these crooks, I had a service guy out March 23 2024 to check my Kenmore Elite Fridge which cost $120. The fridge needs a LG compressor replaced per service. We decided to repair the cost was $609.87. I paid the technician on the spot they were shipping parts. The follow up appt was scheduled for April 1st 2024 between 8-5pm well I had a text at 6.30am saying repair appt was confirmed and guess who never showed. Waited til 6.30pm called 3 times during day to get an estimated time for tech arrival - nothing. I called the main number for Sears Home Repair. Someone with a 414 (Milwaukee) area code called me for my service. I could only schedule someone on Tuesday. They email me 5 times and text me 10 in the weeks' time I have to wait for someone to come out. They ask you to upload your appliance information, so they have the product on the truck. They show up, (8 to 5 is your appointment time), it was 4:20 p.m. when they finally arrived. He proceeds to take my dryer apart (after uploading a photo of the tag inside of my dryer) and tells me that he doesn't have the "very common part" (his words) on his truck and he cannot fix my dyer until NEXT WEEK THURSDAY. My refrigerator has been broken down for four months and Sears warranty support is terrible. A service person came out in January 2024 to assess the problem, over two months after the repair was called in. Parts were ordered but were obsolete and the February repair date and parts order were canceled. Fridge is 1.5 years old or 17 months. It is now March 2024 and they tell me they are working on a replacement fridge. I had to purchase a small unit to get by. It was only a few hundred dollars but I needed to keep food cold. Whoever gave this a 4+ review??? We have been waiting three and half months to have our Dryer repaired. Their customer service line is a joke. Trying to get a real live person to speak to takes forever and then they are from the Far East with obviously a script in front of them. They rely on third party venders and good luck with them. The first one didn't speak English and was consistently referring to the manual, the second repair company sent out a decent repair person, but he just left exasperated because after months of waiting they sent the wrong item to repair the appliance.

I took a day off work for a service call for a repair on a Kenmore dryer. I waited all day for the service call and was sent a text saying they have rescheduled my repair for a week later. I called to ask for a service call the next day instead of a week later and a woman from the far east somewhere apologized over and over again but would not schedule me any sooner than a week later. Why would I trust them to show up then? A worthless company...use at your own risk. I would give them a zero (like the service they gave to me) but I can't.

Had service on Samsung refrigerator that needed another part that I paid for by check. Part was never delivered. I have spoken by "chat" to Sears people several times, emailed several times, and have not received refund for part not delivered. It's impossible to actually talk to someone at the parts dept. Only get runaround by email. Terrable company to work with since you can't actually talk to anyone easily. Part still not delivered or money refunded.

Sears is the absolute Worst home appliance warranty service company! My clothes dryer stopped working back in October 2023. Today is Jan 26,2024, I paid $100 service to have the technician out, I was told the part to fix my dryer would arrive within 7-10 days. 1 1/2 months later after many calls I was told the part was back ordered then it was discontinued & I would get a new dryer per the contract. Their technician placed the order. Jan 4,2024 I was relieved when the new dryer came. However, the size ordered was incorrect, it was too large for the space in my condo. Why should I renew my subscription with you when I have tried to have resolution on my dryer situation since November of 2023? I have been promised over and over that I will receive an email with a resolution in 5 to 10 business days so far there has been no resolution. I have reported the problem to the BBB and will be contacting the Louisiana Attorney General's office of Consumer Protection tomorrow and also a lawyer. So, after a bad experience, I gave another opportunity. Well shame on me. The service tech calls me at 8am to ask me what he is coming to do..THAT should have been the red flag. I said, simple maintenance check of 5 appliances. Ok, see you in an hour. He gets to my home and the first two things he is concerned about is a coupon code and if my wife wants to but an extended warranty for 750 or so dollars. He hasn't even done anything yet. The rating system does not allow for anything lower than 0... I would rate SEARS service repair services -10. Let me explain why... We have a stacked SAMSUNG microwave and oven unit, it is less than 4 years old. The handle of the microwave broke. A Sears "repairman" came to our home. He removed and put back the MICROWAVE DOOR and MICROWAVE PANEL ( not sure why that was necessary, as his conclusion was we needed a new handle) The same day, the microwave stopped working. I purchased a major appliance from Sears assuming I would receive continuing customer service and support as needed. This proved to be a huge mistake - Sears provided absolutely no assistance when I encountered issues getting a defective product repaired under warranty. When the manufacturer refused to fully cover warranty repairs as required by law, Sears completely abandoned me as a customer. I had a technician come out to diagnose my refrigerator. Unfortunately, he didn't have the necessary parts on hand, so we had to order them. Once we got the parts, they didn't resolve the issue. We rescheduled for another visit, but it took 10 days for them to return. A few days prior to their return, I had called to request that a technician contact me to ensure they understood the problem and to be prepared for the visit. Giving them a 1 star is being generous!! We've purchased more than half of our appliances with Sears & have had all of our appliances on a Sears Master Protection Agreement since May of 2005. We've had multiple repairs over the years with no problems until now! My washer hasn't worked since the 11th of August. We are now on our 3rd technician coming out to look at it all saying it needs major parts. The first 2 technicians were outsourced. The 3rd one that just left my house is actually with Sears A&E. If there was a zero stars that's what I would rate Sears Appliance Service. I REALLY wished I read the reviews on Yelp before calling Sears to repair my Kenmore refrigerator. I went online to setup the appartment, but was still called to setup an appointment, which doesn't make sense. Tech arrived at the appointed date and time, but made zero repairs. He took temperatures of both the freezer and the fridge parts of the refrigerator. Then preceded to "clean" the refrigerator. Worst repair service I've ever dealt with. Called them on a dryer that would not heat. The fee to diagnose was $99.00 which is reasonable. However, they wanted $431.00 to replace the heating element which only costs $16.00 on Amazon. I refused to have it repaired by them. I agreed to pay the $99.00, but they ran the credit card for $431.00 by mistake. Called them to correct. They said they would be canceled. They never did. Now working it through the bank. Calling their Customer Service is nearly impossible. Never can get a person online. No wonder Seras is out of business.

Don’t bother calling them. They are not dependable. I had an appointment scheduled for 2 weeks and took off work the entire day because the appt time was between 7 am to 6 pm. They called at 9:30 am the morning of my my appt and cancelled.

Was having an issue with my washer, and a slight issue with dryer. Scheduled them to come out. Now to be clear, they give you a window of 8-5. Not morning. Not afternoon. ALL DAY. And they will NOT call you ahead of time to let you know they are on their way. So basically they'll just show up without warning. And they'll also just show up way before the 8am - 5pm and if you don't answer that doorbell quickly, they just say it's a no show and leave. They don't call you or anything. One of the worst experiences ever. Totally unacceptable. They mark up their parts so much. They charged us $118 for a part that we could have bought for $36. They charge a ridiculous amount for labor, and have you pay up front for it. They cancelled our appointment to fix our dryer, not once, but twice with no explanation and no apology. The refund will take 14 business days. We overpaid for the part, and still had to pay for the $89 diagnostic fee. My dryer has been broken 2 weeks and now my husband has to fix it. How do I submit zero stars? The soonest appt. I could get was 1 week. It took an additional week to order and ship parts. Yesterday the tech was scheduled to make refrigerator repairs. I did not get an email the day before as was promised. Got a confirmation email yesterday morning. Followed the technician 's progress throughout the day. The ETA was 348 PM. No one showed.
