If I could give lower than 1 star I would. They over promise and under deliver. The salesman promised that the tech would be out to put the first lawn application on within 5 days. It never happened. We gave them an additional 3 business days and it still never happened. In the mean time they had taken the automatic payment out of my checking account. The lack of follow through on their commitments led me to cancel the service immediately. That was almost a month ago with now 5 follow up phone calls to get my money returned. My wife and I keep getting told "it wasn't me" and "I'll have someone call you back." I don't care who does it and I don't want to talk to anyone with the Massey... Read More

Poor lawn and client service as well. I must have the best and healthiest weeds in all of Florida and I paid them for it. I have been calling since October 2019 to talk to a manager and get our problem sorted out but no one has reached out. A field person came in October and begged for a 2 month opportunity to fix the problem, to which we agreed, but they never came back at all. Been calling them since to no avail at all. Today, 4 months after, I had to call again and not sure the manager is calling back. I guess Mr and Mrs. Massey are just too busy enjoying life. Very very poor service all around. Rating is 0.

I just received a bill for an irrigation service I cancelled on July 3rd with an Area Manager named Terry. It took several missed appointments to have someone show up. Terry had finally showed up to my residence in reference to numerous lawn issues with dying grass, weeds and ruts where irrigation pipe was installed as new zones when Massey changed my entire irrigation system over to MPR heads. I paid nearly $2k in irrigation, sod and lawn care treatments in one year to have nothing more than dry areas, weeds and uneven ground cover. Massey has been servicing my residence for a little over 4 years and have had nothing but headaches every time someone comes out to inspect my complaints.... Read More

I would never recommend Massey-period. They have a great 'bait and switch program'. The sales person who wrote my contract sold me something that did not work from the get-go. When I had the general manager come out to inspect the problem he insisted that the package sold to me would not work in any possible way- much more would needed to be done- at a cost quadrupling the price. I had paid a year in advance. I had one visit to kill existing weeds on bare ground which was not effective by 90%. Massey's refund policy is 30 days. It is well over that time period and "it is being processed". I constantly get no return call from local office.

They killed our lawn, don't return phone calls and we paid up front. I had to go purchase something to put on all the ant hills myself. Our yard is full of moles and now we have armadillo. We paid up front for a year and they are not making anything right. They keep saying a supervisor is going to phone, but never hear back from one. Meanwhile my lawn is being destroyed by moles and armadillo. Contacted a trapper who wants to charge me 550$ to try and get armadillo, but also told me that i should l not have the problem if my lawn service people were doing their job correctly. I would not recommend them to anyone.

My yard was in good condition except for a spot in the front yard and in the back yard. I had another company and had trouble communicating with them. I turned to Massey. My once beautiful back yard is now full of brown areas. The front yard brown area remains. I was told that a "spectacular" product called Command would fill in the brown areas and grass would grow in all bare areas. Selling me this product ($1,200+) was less expensive than sod. This product, even went applied twice did NOTHING. My yard has never looked this bad! They now tell me chinch bugs. Well, they were the company treating my lawn for insects.
