Dissatisfied and disgusted are the only words that come to mind to describe my experience with WYNDHAM! When I originally made my purchase of 105,000 points in 2017, no one told me it would be for 1 specific property. I was told that I could vacation anywhere but that was not the case. As a bonus, I was given another 145,000 points but as it turns out, they expire. Again, information that was left out. One of the things I told the salespeople is that I wanted to go to Jamaica. I was told that if I have an RCI membership, it works with my Wyndham points, and I could visit Jamaica. Turns out that 105,000 points would not be enough for me to travel internationally! In 2018, I upgraded in... Read More

HI! Just a rant from someone, reminding you (because you know) how bad Wyndham Rewards really is... November 18, my reservation at Wyndham Garden at the New Orleans Airport was CANCELLED unilaterally by Wyndham, and I was not informed. I discovered almost by accident that it had been cancelled when checking the phone number of the hotel and seeing the banner "Hotel Closed" on it. After an hour convincing the operator that the hotel was, indeed, closed (savor that... he accused me of lying and also claaimed that I was the one who had cancelled the reservation), the rep rebooked me in the Harrah's in NOLa. I showed up at 1am on November 18, and was told by the front desk at Harrahs... Read More

A company run by scammers, that also employs scammers. My husband and I were suckered into buying a timeshare with deceitful tricks. We were first approached in Circus Circus in Las Vegas and offered Adventure Dome tickets and free slot play if we went to a presentation. The rep never said she worked for a company other than Circus Circus so we had no idea what we were getting in to. While at the presentation, salespeople hounded us and told us everything we wanted to hear. If those things had been true, I would not be writing this review. The first lie was that we could stay at Disney World and get free tickets. We were told that this was NOT a timeshare, as we would not be locked into... Read More

I wish I could write a five-star review after how much money my wife and I have put into this company, but I most certainly cannot! WorldMark has been a huge let-down since the beginning. There were guarantees made by the salesmen that we’d have access to resorts worldwide and they assured us that it was a great time to invest in vacation real estate. Unfortunately, there is no property that we own, and reservations are insanely difficult to obtain. On the rare occasion we are able to book a vacation, we are convinced to go to an update meeting, which is only another sales presentation. During the subsequent meetings, we expressed our irritation with the reservations and, naturally, the... Read More

Wyndham property has a whole I would give good ratings, but the Sales team practices are terrible. I have attended several presentations, as a Discovery member, and never had a problem walking away and not signing up because I knew it was not in my best interest. When I attended the presentation in Nashville I told them why I don't become a member and they said if I sign with them they can get me what I want, so I did sign the agreement. The next day I was uncomfortable with my decision because I made it under the pressure of running out of time (we had another couple waiting impatiently for us) and I didn't do the research I would have liked to, so I asked to cancel to contract. The... Read More

I have been insanely frustrated with Worldmark by Wyndham! I have been an owner for 8 years and all I have to show for it is wasted money and thousands of dollars of debt. Being roped into my latest upgrade in 2019 was the final straw. My biggest issue is the fact that I can NEVER get a reservation for when and where I want. When I expressed this in 2015, I was assured that an upgrade would solve my problems. Well, it didn’t. Years went by and I had the same problem over and over again. In 2019, I was finally able to book a trip to Branson and was invited to another meeting. Again, I voiced my displeasure and was given the same answer as 4 years prior. An upgrade will solve everything.... Read More

Wyndham is full of scam artists. Don’t fall for their lies. I have been completely disappointed by Wyndham, their product, and staff. We were lied to from day 1 in our presentation. The sales reps were pushy and gave us false information to trick us in to buying a timeshare. When we said we wanted to vacation near Universal Studios, our salesman said we’d be able to get discounted park tickets as owners, but that never happened. My husband and I REPEATEDLY told them we could not afford to purchase the timeshare but that did not stop them! All they did was offer smaller packages with lower prices no matter how many times we said that my husband was not currently employed. They offered... Read More

Stay as far away from Wyndham as possible! My wife and I were on our honeymoon in July when we were stopped by one of their representatives at SeaWorld in Florida who told us that our wristbands made us eligible for a free vacation. We SPECIFICALLY asked if this was for a timeshare and were told no. This is the ONLY reason we agreed to attend. At this presentation, they spent hours telling us about all the benefits to ownership with Wyndham. No matter how many times we said no, they just kept pushing and pushing us to make a purchase. We finally agreed because we were worn down, exhausted, and believed that they were truthful. The idea of travelling worldwide, especially once our son... Read More

Wyndham is a terrible company to do business with and has been such a headache! I should have known from day 1 that there would be issues. The first lie was how long our presentation would be. The rep that roped us in knew my wife and I were on an anniversary trip and promised they only needed 30 minutes of our time in exchange for a $100 gift card. That 30 minutes turned in to 5 HOURS! Five hours of multiple sales reps and managers hurling numbers at us and offering freebies, never taking NO for an answer. We asked for time to discuss these offers in private but were never left alone. We have attended multiple “update” meetings since then, all of them were attempts to upgrade us.... Read More

I have been an owner with Wyndham since 2018 and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. I should have gone with my initial gut instinct with these people, but instead was lured in by their offers. I was lied to repeatedly during the sales meeting, being told things like; we can sell the property back if we change our minds, the timeshare could be written off on taxes, and this “property” is a real estate investment. The list goes on and on. They will always tell you your points are never enough in order to make a sale. They don’t take no for an answer, and pressure you to upgrading no matter what your financial situation might be at that point. Many times we asked for help with lowering... Read More
