With good reviews and ratings and a growing presence across the nation, 101 Mobility should be considered for your stairlift installation.

Features and Customization - 4.5 / 5

In addition to the traditional curved and straight stairlift offerings, 101 Mobility has a variety of solutions for people with disabilities. The chairs offered by Harmar, Handicare, and Bruno are some the most reliable on the market. Since the company is a dealership that works with multiple brands, consumers can compare a large variety of models and customizable features, but this will be dependent on each specific branch. However, 101 Mobility always offers professional installation and free assessments.

Warranty Fine Print

"101 Mobility includes a complimentary one-year limited service warranty on each new product that we sell and install. Most manufacturers offer product warranties which cover the cost of replacement parts for various lengths of time, but paying someone to diagnose the issue and perform the repairs can become costly. Our service warranty fills in the gaps by including complimentary service calls during your first year with your new product."

101 Mobility Customer Service & Reputation

Customer Service - 4.5 / 5

101 Mobility is a network of locally-owned franchises that all offer the same products, services, and warranty. The website is a great source of information explaining much of the purchase process and the equipment they offer. The national office receives an A+ from the Better Business Bureau, but we recommend that shoppers check out reviews of their local office to better determine customer satisfaction with the salespeople and installers they will be working with directly.

They never return calls. Long lead times for service. A real problem if you can't use your chairlift for two weeks. It is a reoccurring issue.

Brand new stair lift installed in April 2021. Paid over $4500. Unfortunately, our father died in mid June 2021. Called about their Buy-Back Program. Offered us only $200 after 2 months of use. I do not recommend them at all and feels like they just are just taking advantage of our unfortunate situation.

We had a Bruno lift installed August of 2018. The lift that was supposed to be customized for our home did not fit and we had to make adjustments to our home to accommodate the lift. My husband has Parkinson's and the lift is a medical necessity. The 101 Mobility franchise that installed the lift is now out of business and even though the main office knew of it for several months we were never notified. We are now left with no one to service the lift and the main office says they will not honor the warranty. Do not trust this company they obviously have no ethics and take advantage of those who are most vulnerable.

We have had a Summit lift now for about years. We do not have issues with the lift but there is a serious issue with service for the lift itself. There are only to companies here in a region that includes almost six million people. One is in Galveston. One is in Northwest Houston. My lift as been "on the fritz" now for almost a week. Yesterday the guy who runs the place in Galveston (we live close to NASA) came down. Because the lift started working again after he arrived he said he couldn't analyze the problem because he could only figure out what was wrong with it if it was not working. He promptly left and has refused to come back because it might be working again when... Read More
