Compared to others, Blue Cross has higher premiums. Now that they don’t pay for prescription for glasses and glasses they are terrible. I’m switching to another company.

Healthy Blue has dropped some benefits that other providers offer. They were good, but now they’re terrible in helping people. I will be changing as soon as I can. I would not recommend wasting time and money, compare the benefits and you’ll see.

Total scam . If you get mail from them , dont respond AT ALL . Dont give them any information . All they need is for you to inquire about insurance and they will STEAL your tax return . Worst of the worst in all respects . STAY AWAY .

This is the worst company around, I get my coverage through Maryland and the maryland system STINKS, one day few years ago they put my policy in my mother's name giving it to her, she's in her eighties and has another different insurer. For past several years WE have been doing our best to get them to rectify their mistake and we have gone through everyone and everything while still paying for the coverage, MY Coverage. they finally sent me a card last year in My name then they notified us they were cancelling my policy for failure of payments but they are still keeping my account active in my mother's name. We have been complaining to them and complaining, we have been talking to dozens... Read More

this company sucks & just give me the runaround along with there underwriter liberty dental scammers that first says yes but than says no even after fare hearing judge ruled in my favor still no dental care from 2017 but they still collect premiums form Memcached & medicare so these company's both suck & are defrauding the taxpayers & customers

Ever since COVID this company has gone down hill. The representatives are uninformed and have no idea what they are doing. They provide information about claims and submittals.

I have been in the work force since I was 16 years old. And, I am now 57. Over the course of my professional career, I have enrolled in insurance coverage by multiple carriers as an employee. I must say, in one month’s time, Blue Cross/Blue Shield A them has risen to the top of the list as THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY I have ever witnessed. I am disgusted, angry, and appalled at the barriers they creat and lack of care that they foster. As a person trying to manage diabetes, I cannot believe the lack of coverage they have displayed for a plan of care and treatment that has been a non-issue with any other insurance company in my past. Anthem is THE WORST! Even in trying to adhere to their... Read More

This is the worst insurance company I've ever used in my entire life. They are supposed to be a prestigious health insurance company but they don't tell you they won't cover things up front until you already had the service done and receive the bill. They only want you to use 1 lab for all the services that the lab offeres but won't tell you what those services are until you find out the hard way. I'm going to look into other insurance companies because i can't afford to continue to spend thousands of dollars while spending hundreds every month on my premium. Apparently, with this company, you have to call them any time you want to get any testing done or go to any dr for any reason to see... Read More

I just learned of changes to my coverage. Instead of lab tests being fully covered, I am now having to pay 15% of the charges. This seems small until you figure out that "a" lab test is actually 15 lab tests, each with a charge. The lab tests all add up to over $30,000. They allow only $19,300, but you're now on the hook for 15% of that amount where the years prior, there was no charge. You "get notified" but what actually happened is that they send you so many letters, they start getting thrown away because 90% of the mail is junk. Surprise!!! Your coverage is not near as good as it was when you signed up but now, you're stuck and have less options.

All health insurance and medical institutions should be ashamed of themselves. The CEOs make millions of dollars a year, while we cover their salaries and expenses. It’s fine until you need to use it, and you had better saved up. Twenty five years ago it cost a simple twenty dollar copay to have my son. Today, I have to pay over seven hundred dollars for a sleep study and go through a ten month compliance process to get a bipap replacement. Still waiting on the what the cost of the machine that is not covered by bcbs of Tennessee. Another thing, why do insurance companies get a “discount”, when out of pocket payers are charged full price? The whole system is messed up, and aca was the... Read More
