This is literally the worst health insurance company I have ever dealt with. They are scam artists. I have had 7 claims denied by them claiming my provider is "out of network" even though he is listed as "in network" on their website. Each time I have had to call multiple times to appeal, it takes over 1 month to reverse the denial. I am assured it won't happen again, and then it does. Seven times, each time telling me he is "out of network". They are incompetent and refuse to fix their processes. If I could give 0 stars I would. They take your money and don't pay for the coverage they guarantee. Read the other reviews, go to bbb.org and read the reviews there. Allied Benefit isn't a... Read More

They are awful, every single time you need something done it's a problem. I had an impacted wisdom tooth that had to come out. I have medical and dental insurance through Cigna, they would not pay for the procedure, they said was not covered under medical, or dental. This company is terrible they just collect money they don't pay money. Run as fast as you can from this company.

A complete scam! This is not a healthy insurance company. It’s similar to a Bernie Madoff scheme. Don’t be fooled and btw no one answers their phone number. And Of course that’s the only way to contact them

Scam! Bernie Madoff- like! Run as fast as you can. They are not an insurance company. I’m still trying to figure out what they actually are. From what I’ve understood from employees there, everybody on the plan Ships in money and they’re “supposed to” reimburse your medical bills. I’ve read the fine friends and I almost fell over. Snuck in the fine print are the words,” we are not an insurance company” “and we do not reimburse your medical payments.” Scary and a good lesson to remember to read the fine print in anything you sign up for.

This is an ABSOLUTE JOKE!! I dont know how they are called an Insurance Company. They say its covered then you get a nasty bill. They dont even cover your bloodwork I even got a bill back for that. My regular Dr I even get bills for now. This is the WORST EVER!!!!! They should be looked into because they are taking money from us for NO coverage. I do bettersaying I have NO Insurance for real. This is so awful I dont go to the Dr because I am scared of the bills.

THIS IS THE WORST INSURANCE COVERAGE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! My employer switched to Allied this past July and I have yet to hear from any of my co-workers, myself included, that has had adequate coverage since that switch. There were numerous issues with getting many of my co-workers and/or their dependents onto the plan due to clerical errors. They repeatedly deny coverage based solely on their own profit margin rather than the health of their clients. They may have kept our premiums the same as our previous coverage, but I am having to pay significantly more out of pocket due to their refusal to cover tests and procedures my doctor has ordered. What's more is that no hospital or clinic... Read More

This insurance is crappy!! I nominated my provider for inclusion in the network back in May. She still has received nothing. Providers HATE this insurance. And beware---your provider may tell you that they accept that insurance but this does not mean that they are in network (years ago it did). We have only been on this crappy insurance since May and it has cost me $2000+ more as I did not know 2 of my regular providers were out of network until the bills started coming in. Calling them takes so much time and they do not respond when they say they will. The sad thing is that our employer was duped. We are still paying the same premiums as we did for BC/BS but Allied promised... Read More

I have never been more disappointed with an insurance company in my entire life. I have been submitting receipts for the past 5, yes that's right, 5 months, and have gotten no reimbursements. Twice now the insurance has reimbursed my Doctor, not me, the individual who paid for the service. I called to get it fixed and sure enough they made the same mistake, AGAIN! Whenever I call to try and fix the issue I have to deal with people that have no idea what's going on and can't provide any answers. The fact of the matter is that I am now out hundreds of dollars and will have to stop getting the treatment I need. Ironic right, as an insurance company is supposed to help, not hinder. As a...
