My loan origination process was smooth. However I asked multiple times about loan sales and servicing and I was assured that NASB owns and services their mortgages. (I don't like doing business with fly by night financing companies) However, this was just simply not the truth. I was NEVER told by Jeff or anyone at NASB what was happening, and as of today, I still haven't heard from NASB on this topic... My loan originated on 3/1 with first payment due 5/1. On 4/10 I received a letter that an escrow payment had been 'transferred to new lender'. No details on who, why, when, or anything. (really?). Then on 4/18 I received an email from Flagstar Bank welcoming me as a new customer.... Read More
