Progressive RV Insurance review
Have had Progressive RV insurance for about 3 years now. Last summer had my catalytic converters stolen and Progressive was there to help get them replaced in time for a cross country trip. When we go back still had some issues and ended up having to take to a dealer an hour away. The dealer caused some damage to the awning and refused to admit it. I thought, that is what insurance is for and started a claim. Progressive, again, did a great job on helping me get it fixed. The other day I got a non-renewal notice from them. Think it is odd for a company to non-renew a client that pays on time, had 1 moving violation in 40 years, has only ever submitted 2 claims to an insurance company for a total of $1500. Was going to switch my auto and home to them this year, glad I waited. I get having metrics and flags to ID poor risks, but think you need to look at all of the information about your clients.

I've been with Progressive for my motohome insurance for 3 years. The first couple of year I had modest increases as one might expect. The latest renewal notice had an increase of nearly $200 for the year. I called the independent agent and she ran it again and came up with the same premium. I went online and submitted a request through American Adventure. They responded within an hour with a rate using Progressive that was below what I paid in my first year with Progressive. Plus, the coverage was better with a guaranteed value (not depreciated value) in the case of a total loss, and better coverage for the loss of personal items from the motorhome. I then called my local independent agent and had her re-quote with the same policy levels. Again her quote remained the same even with increasing the deductible from $250 to $1000. She said something about "diminishing deductible" for the higher rate she was quoting. I think that's riduculous to pay a higher rate each year for a diminishing deductible, someting I may never take advantage of. I can afford a $1000 deductible especially when it lowers my premium by over $300 a year. All that and I'm still with Progressive.

We had extensive damage to our fifth wheel due to hail and straight line winds. Progressive was wonderful to work with and keep us informed of the progress of the claim. They paid the claim in a timely manner, I highly recommend using this company to insure your RV/fith wheel/camper.

RV America Insurance review
If you live in arizona, do not choose ahs. I have had home warranties with various company I.E. For over thirty years and ahs is absolutely the worst. Hours on hold, no vetting of contractors. Contractors who have 1.X yelp ratings and 2.X bbb ratings. Won't call a new vendor to get a problem resolved that a previous vendor of theirs could not fix twice. They say it is their protocol not to hire a new contractor. "It's in the system and we cannot call a different vendor" is what they say. I had to call my own vendor and plumbing issue fixed in thirty minutes (at my own cost) no customer service culture whatsoever. Overpriced and under deliver. Buyer beware! Ahs is awful!
