Fetch Canada Pet Insurance review
I adopted my dog three years ago, and he was quite sick while I had him. I am very thankful that I chose Petplan because I wouldn't have been able to provide the care for my dog if it weren't for Petplan. It was very straightforward to submit the claims and the turnaround time was always very quick (at most 2 - 3 weeks). I know that Petplan had some issues with the new mobile app but even with that I was still able to see the submitted claims and it didn't affect the process of recompensation. If I ever muster up the strength to adopt another dog, I will definitely be returning to Petplan.

Pets Plus Us Canada Pet Insurance review
Not the best company actually. I was very happy with Pet Secure for many years but they cover only ONE health condition per year. Big problem! Now I am with Pets Plus Us , big deductibles for old dogs, annual increase in premiums (they claim because of the inflation), and you have to check how they calculate every claim return.

My experience with Pets Plus Us has been nothing but Positive. I have two Bernese Mountain Dogs and have had to use the insurance several times in the past few years. Customer service has always been excellent and they are quick to reimburse me. I think they are an excellent company. Also received a premium discount for being a Costco member. I highly recommend them.

Pets Plus Us Canada Pet Insurance review
I'd like to share my very disappointing experience with Pets plus us! I am a new client with 2 pups that are healthy. I happened to take my youngest pup to the vet as he was more stubborn to potty training and thought perhaps he might have a bladder infection that might be contributing to his pee accidents. So after the vet examination, extraction of urine as he was so tiny, 5 lbs.,there was nothing wrong with him outside of being a stubborn , tiny chihuahua mix and would take more time being house trained! The vet said there was no urinary infection or anything wrong with him. But apparently simple because I was a concerned , proactive pet owner, and despite the fact that there was no previous condition or treatment, their underwriter put a 12 mos rider against my pet based on the fact that I had simply taken him in to the vet to make sure there was not a potential infection that could be contrubuting to his slow house training. I was penalized for this on my policy, despite the fact the vet had stated there was nothing wrong with him and my dog has never been treated for any urinary issue in his life! How does a company ethically put a rider against a condition that the pup never had and was never treated for!!! Simple because I was making sure he was healthy and ok!! Dispite asking for any logical reason the underwriter refused to take the 12 mos exclusion off my policy for a condition my dog never had, and had never been treated for!! How does this make any sense! So after having to speak to a supervisor twice over, the condition that was none existent has now been reduced to a 6 mos exclusion that was not preexisting prior to insurance policy, nor was he ever treated for any urinary issue! I totally understand had my dog been treated for a condition prior to the policy. But he didn't!! So how is that fair and just!

Submitting claims couldn't be easier (they have an app for this!), and the support is always there when needed. Usually receives the claim in the mailbox within 1-2 weeks (if you are living in Canada). I would totally recommend my friends to join PetPlan if they have a pet at home.

My kitty Harley got sick and couldn't keep anything in his system for 4-5 days. Took him to ER and they thought they saw an object on the X-ray's. My vet diagnosed IBS/Pancreatitis. He would not eat for over 2 weeks. I had to keep going back to the vet and getting new medications to try to heal him and syringe feed him so that he would not have liver issues. I was going to get him help no matter what the cost, but having PetPlan insurance really helped!!! I was about to go to a specialist when he finally started eating. I sent in my bills and received a check in the mail within a few weeks. I have had PetPlan insurance for both of my kitties for over 6 years now and I wouldn't do without it! They are super easy to work with and makes my mind at ease to take care of my fur babies without having to worry about cost.

Pets Plus Us Canada Pet Insurance review
Pets Plus Us had been fantastic so far. My dog had a $5500 knee surgery at the specialist and the problem arose a few weeks after signing up, they are covering 90% of the surgery as that's the plan I signed up for. They also cover 90% of the physiotherapy and rehabilitation she will be needing. They never increase my monthly rates and won't increase my deductible until she is 5 years of age. So far absolutely recommend the company.
