Intuit Payroll Software review
I have used Intuit Payroll since it was Paycycle and when it works, its great. When it goes wrong, its a real problem. I changed from them after it took over 7 weeks to fix a problem with staff not being able to get paid via direct deposit. They kept saying it was fixed, but the same error was present. I felt there was no real desire to get this issue fixed. I also had a situation where a staff member had a pre-tax deduction that was cancelled after I had ran payroll for a few weeks. I asked Intuit to delete the checks so I could re-enter them, but they had to do it. Not a problem except I had to calculate all the taxes for them and let them know what to enter?!?! I thought they were the payroll company? They directed me to another website to use its calculator to work out the taxes. I could not believe I had to do it myself. What am I paying them for?? PROS: It's cheap and effective You keep the money in your account until taxes are due CONS: Staff cannot get W4's from the online site You cannot import payroll into this program, you have to manually type all the entries in When it breaks - your in for a headache
