  • Plan B - Offers the same amount of coverage as Plan A, with the addition of a hospital deductible in each benefit period.
  • Plan C - One of the most popular plans, it adds on a skilled nursing facility daily copay, the Part B annual deductible, and emergency care outside of the U.S.
  • Plan D - Though this includes most of the same benefits as plan C, it does not cover the Part B deductible.

Horrible business practices. They send the monthly bills so late you get them 2 days before they're due (if you're lucky!). Just got my January 1st bill and the monthly charge went up nearly 300% with no advance warning from the company. Too late to change this year but stay away from Mutual of Omaha if you can!

Hey you low life bastards, thanks for the opportunity to tell people what a scumbag company this is. I'd give you zero Stars, but then my comment wouldn't show up. Just wanted to say thank you for raising the cost of my insurance 7 fold and adding the $500 deductible. May you truly rot in hell! P.S. I really appreciate the four letters you sent me to tell me you had canceled me.... Keep rubbing it in!!!

Mutual of Omaha (MoO) Me.dicare only accepts very healthy elders. If you ever had a operation, take prescription medication, have any type of medical problem do not waste your time an apply. The online application takes about an hour to complete and at the end it appears that you will be accepted. You will receive a telephone call from a rep. that is when the truth about MoO surfaces. Then you may realize the reason for their low premiums is because than only accept the healthiest elders. How many elders have NO health issues?

Very expensive. They do not tell you that after joining, when first on Medicare, they raise your rates 2x a year until you are paying $353 a mth, then they wait a year and then raise it $42 a mth to $395, just to pay 20% of what Medicare does not pay. They do not care about seniors. Who gets a $500 a year raise when they are retired 12 years, not me.

Their "vision care" plan covers only a tiny sliver of options. I pay a little over $285 once every two-three years for corneal molds...and Omaha won't cover it. My neighbor spends more than that on glasses each year and they do cover some of that. If you wear contacts or use ANY eye sight maintenance protocol other than "glasses"....you are out-of-luck.
