Overall Rating: 6.3 / 10 (Very good)

LifeShield is a fair choice for home security. Despite their five different monitoring stations across the country, their customer service and reputation is less than stellar. Their systems don't offer any home automation features, and many sensors (such as flood, freeze, and smoke detectors) must be purchased separately.

LifeShield, contrary to most other companies, manufacture their own equipment. Their systems are professionally installed, and basic plans include fire and carbon monoxide monitoring, base, keypad, keychain remote, wireless security tablet, 1 motion-detector sensor, and door and window sensors. They do not have the home automation devices or features or recessed door sensors that most of their competitors do.
