Our Approach

How We Found The Best Flower Delivery Companies

Orders & Delivery Process
We chose companies that guaranteed flower freshness upon delivery, provided order tracking, and effectively addressed customer concerns.
Pricing
Prices can vary greatly due to customized arrangement, seasonal availability, and how they’re sourced. We compared the costs of bouquet sizes, as well as shipping and service fees.
Additional Services
We included companies that offered additional gifts that complement flowers, such as balloons, gift baskets, and vases.
Flower Selection
We shifted our focus towards companies with a diverse selection of flower species and arrangement options.
We receive compensation from these partners, which impacts the order they appear on the page. That said, the analyses and opinions on our site are our own and we believe in editorial integrity.

Our Top Picks: Delivered Just in “Thyme”

Our initial goal was to have the best flower delivery companies summed up by Valentine’s Day. It wasn’t until we dug deep in our research on the flower industry that we learned how the sentimental value of flowers exceeds one holiday.

Whether it’s the secret messages historically attached to them, or simply the vibrant colors and aromas, people respond differently to flowers than to other gifts. We use flowers for almost every special occasion, and there are many retailers committed to providing them. So, which flower delivery companies are the best?

We narrowed our choices from 21 different companies down to nine. We then ordered a flower product from each, with prices ranging from $24 to $65, to be delivered to relatives and friends in various states. Each arrangement arrived on time and in good condition, according to our recipients. For that reason, our list below features the ones that rose above the competition:

Screenshot, Bouqs.com, February 2020

  • Price Range: $35-$100
  • Shipment: Nationwide, but not U.S. territories
  • Order Sizes: original (12+), deluxe (24+), grande (36+)

This flower delivery company is ideal for people who enjoy sending or receiving flowers year-round. They’re also the first to receive limited-time offers and discount codes on purchases via email. The subscription offers customizable delivery dates and can be canceled at any time, for any reason.

Budget-friendly Options

For the budget-minded consumer, The Bouqs Co. offers flowers and gift sets under $40 and under $50. There are also seasonal flower sales, such as its current Valentine’s Day Sale, where you can buy a deluxe-sized bouquet at its regular-sized price. The company also offers a 10% promo for new customers and 30% off for referrals to their friends.

Things to Consider

The Bouqs Co. states that they partner with eco-friendly farmers who use sustainable growing practices. This may be true, but the best way for consumers to guarantee that is if they have a certification that verifies sustainable practices.

Our Selection

In an attempt to order the Dragonfly bouquet, our team experienced loading issues on the customer checkout page. We contacted The Bouqs Co. customer support team, which responded right away via live chat. The representative confirmed that purchases on the website can’t be made while outside of the U.S. mainland. Since our office headquarters is in Puerto Rico, we couldn’t purchase any flowers for this review.

Teleflora review

Best for International Deliveries

  • Price Range: $40-$410
  • Shipment: International (165+ countries)
  • Order Sizes: standard, deluxe, premium

As an extensive network of over 30,000 local and worldwide florists, Teleflora delivers fresh, never-packaged bouquets around the globe. All Teleflora flower bouquets are arranged and hand-delivered in complementary vases by a florist in that respected region.

Deals & Promotions

Shoppers trying to save money on purchases can take advantage of Teleflora’s seasonal promotions and coupons. The company also offers a “deal of the day,” where you can choose your price, ranging between $50 and $200, and have the floral arrangement customized by a local floral designer. Additionally, customers with a membership can earn rewards per purchase and apply those earn points towards the next purchase for a discount.

Things to Consider

Keep in mind that Teleflora isn’t a florist that partners with flower farms, but instead a service organization with a network of florists. Teleflora acts as the liaison between the customer and their nearest florist. Depending on where and when you need an order shipped, consumers may find it easier, and sometimes cheaper, to contact a local florist directly.

Our Selection

Recipient’s photo of “Make a Wish” Bouquet from Teleflora/ConsumersAdvocate.org

We ordered the “Make a Wish” bouquet for $35, which was hand-delivered by Belmont Florist, a California-based florist within Teleflora’s network. Our recipient, who lives in Long Beach, CA, was overjoyed having received them by hand, praising the colors and vase decor. We noticed afterward, however, that the company recorded her contact information incorrectly to the local florist, and they had to contact us for clarity.

Avas Flowers review

Best for Discounts

Screenshot, Avasflowers.net, February 2020

  • Price Range: $35-$100
  • Shipment: continental U.S.
  • Order Sizes: small, regular, large, luxury

Not many flower delivery companies offer daily sales. This is where Avas Flowers stands out. It always has a “sale of the day” (it’s recent one: up to 45% off purchases and free local delivery). You can also get a bang for your buck while shopping through its “hot deals” section for discounted products. Avas Flowers also offers free deliveries on orders for a limited time.

Local Florists

If you are interested in supporting local florists, you’ll be happy to learn that Avas Flowers has affiliate flower shops nationwide, partnering with local floral designers in major cities. Ideal for same-day deliveries, the local florists can help in adding a personalized touch to your gift purchase.

Things to Consider

The company provides free delivery, but customers should be aware that the taxes and service fees weren’t revealed until the end of the checkout process. This added a $20 charge to our purchase.

Our Selection

Recipient’s photo of “You’re An Angel” Bouquet from Avas Flowers/Consumersadvocate.org

We ordered the “You’re an Angel” bouquet, and caught it on sale for $35 from its standard $55 price. Our recipient, who lives in Charlotte, NC, stated that the bouquet arrived on-time at her doorstep. She gave compliments on its freshness and vibrant colors.

Viva Roses review

Best for Roses

  • Price Range: $60-$160
  • Shipment: Nationwide, but not U.S. territories (Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands)
  • Order Sizes: small (24), medium (50), large (100)

Housed within the province of Cotopaxi, an active volcano in Ecuador known for providing nutrient-rich soil, the VivaRoses family farm caters solely to cultivating Ecuador’s infamous, deep red volcanic roses. Available in several unique colors, the roses are hand-tied and shipped in customized VivaRose gift boxes to the U.S., nationwide.

Free Shipping

Unlike the other flower delivery companies, VivaRoses is the only one that offers free shipping. After purchasing its “I Dream of Jeannie '' bouquet, there were absolutely no additional fees revealed in the checkout section. The initial price displayed was the exact price we paid at the end.

Things to Consider

To preserve their freshness and prevent blooming pre-delivery, the roses are packaged and delivered in bud form. For this reason, VivaRoses may not be an ideal door-delivered gift. It does, however, come with care and assembling instructions so you can send it to yourself, assemble, and present the roses in-person to your desired recipient.

Our Selection

We took advantage of the free shipping and ordered the “I Dream Jeannie” bouquet for $65. Our recipient in Las Vegas, NV, confirmed the flowers arrived at her doorstep on their expected date in a gift box. Once removed and arranged in the complimentary vase, she said the roses smelled fresh and were in the early blooming stage.

ProFlowers review

Best Environmentally Friendly

Screenshot, ProFlowers.com, February 2020

  • Price Range: $30-$180
  • Shipment: International (150+ countries), but not Puerto Rico
  • Order Sizes: good (regular), better (large)

Very few companies mention, let alone acknowledge, where and how their products are sourced. ProFlowers, on the other hand, informs customers about the type of flower farms it partners with: only those with fair labor standards and proper stewardship of the environment. Taking it a step further, the company is open about having partners in the Netherlands and South America, the two primary exporters of cut flowers.

ProFlowers also lists its ethical standards for partners, stating that it only works with companies that pay their workers above the minimum wage, have 8 to 9-hour work shifts, and offer employee benefits such as free transportation to and from work, breakfast and lunch, and on-site daycare.

To ensure their partners uphold ethical and environmental standards, ProFlowers regularly audits the farms. Its partnering flower farmers must also be certified by organizations that affirm fair and healthy regulations, such as Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, and Veriflora.

Transparency

Customers can get frustrated discovering extra charges on their order, those that are generally hidden until checkout or mentioned in small print. Fortunately, ProFlowers has a “Delivery Details” section visibly displayed within each product, which breaks down every charge and the reason, including shipping, service, care and handling, and additional charges for overnight and weekend deliveries.

Things to Consider

Shoppers interested in ordering flowers to deliver overseas will be redirected to FTD’s website, the parent company of ProFlowers. FTD, Floral Transworld Delivery, handles international shipping separately and has different service and shipping policies than ProFlowers.

Our Selection

Recipient’s photo of Potted Red Roses from ProFlowers/Consumersadvocate.org

We ordered the “Potted Red Roses” for $20. It’s worth noting that shipping and handling fees were expensive ($26), making the total cost for a single bouquet or roses a whopping $52. Our recipient in Tampa, FL confirmed receiving the potted roses at her door front, on the expected day, but was disappointed that it only contained four roses.

1-800-Flowers.com review

Best for Additional Gifts

Screenshot, 1800Flowers.com, February 2020

  • Price Range: $30-$310
  • Shipment: International
  • Order Sizes: regular or double-stemmed, without or without a vase

If you’re hoping to take your gift to another level, 1800Flowers is a good start. As a marketplace, 1800Flowers has partnerships with several retailers to provide customers with a diverse selection of personalized gifts. In addition to flower bouquets, consumers can choose from multiple types of gift baskets, such as assorted spa care and baby accessories, home-baked goods, including cookies and cakes, as well as keepsake gifts, ranging from wine glasses and children’s storybooks to home decor, necklaces, and more.

Brick & Mortar

Not everyone is comfortable with shopping online. Some people would rather pick out gifts in person, especially flowers. 1800Flowers caters to that as well, having over 125 physical retail locations throughout the continental U.S. Here, customers can meet with an expert floral designer to create a customized bouquet, choose a unique vase, and shop a variety of gift sets.

Things to Consider

Although 1800Flowers states it ships internationally, no flower products were available for shipment to our office in Puerto Rico.

Our Selection

Recipient’s photo of “It’s Your Day” Bouquet from 1800Flowers/Consumersadvocate.org

We ordered the “It’s Your Day” bouquet for $35 and had it door-delivered with a complimentary vase to our recipient in Lynchburg, VA. Our recipient confirmed the flowers arrived on the expected date and, after a week, still smelled fresh and were in bloom.

From You Flowers review

Best for Same-day Delivery

Screenshot, Fromyouflowers.com, February 2020

  • Price Range: $30-$125
  • Shipment: International
  • Order Sizes: regular, deluxe (shown), premium

Many flower companies say they can deliver the same day but aren’t transparent about the time and geographical limitations. From You Flowers, on the other hand, doesn’t have those restrictions. As a florist network, From You Flowers has over 20,000 affiliate florists, enabling customers to make purchases 24 hours, seven days a week.

Gift Baskets

Shoppers who’d like to pair their bouquets with a thoughtful gift can choose from one of From You Flowers’ themed-gift baskets that cater to different occasions. These creative gifts range from Starbucks Lovers to Spa Treatment baskets, as well as the traditional chocolate-lover and baked goods assortments.

Also, if you’re looking to add a personal touch to your bouquet, From You Flowers also offers custom photo vases, or “FaceVases,” which prints a photo of your choice onto the vase. Each bouquet purchase includes the FaceVase option for an additional price.

Things to Consider

Our bouquet purchase included an additional $18 service fee and tax. From You Flowers products are available through Amazon, which may be an alternative for consumers with an Amazon account to save on extra fees.

Our Selection

Recipient’s photo of “Just Because ” Bouquet via From You Flowers/Consumersadvocate.org

We ordered the “Just Because” bouquet for $24 as a same-day delivery. The flowers were left near our recipient’s doorstep, in Laurel, MD, who confirmed retrieving the bouquet that same evening. She said the bouquet came in a complimentary vase and that the flowers looked and smelled fresh for almost two weeks.

Florists.com review

Best For Local Deliveries

Screenshot, Florists.com, February 2020

  • Price Range: $40-$85
  • Shipment: continental U.S.
  • Order Sizes: single or double; options as bouquet, in clear vase or in red vase

A company that guarantees same-day delivery doesn’t necessarily mean it’s delivered locally. Customers who prefer supporting local businesses can look to Florists.com. This company works with the BloomNet Network of florists, where orders are designed, arranged, and personally hand-delivered by a local florist to the customer’s location.

Affordability

On a budget? All of the Florists.com’s plants and flowers are less than $90, with floral products ranging between $40-$85. There are also occasional sale promotions, including its “deal of the day” bouquets.

Things to Consider

Since Florists.com works with local florists, the delivery time depends on that florist’s schedule. There is also the possibility of the florist not having the customer’s desired flower type. Florist.com is transparent about this on its website, addressing that if it happens, the florist will substitute it with similar-looking flowers of equal value.

Our Selection

Recipient’s photo of “Newborn” Flower gift set from Florists.com/Consumersadvocate.org

We ordered the “Newborn Flower” gift set for $40 which was dropped off on time at our recipient’s doorstep in San Antonio, TX. She praised the freshness of the flowers and their appearance. The teddy bear included with the purchase, however, was not the same as the one advertised.

White Flower Farm review

Best for Gardeners

Screenshot, Whiteflowerfarm.com, February 2020

  • Price Range: $50-$220
  • Shipment: continental U.S.
  • Order Sizes: n/a; with or without a vase

White Flower Farm has a diverse selection of flower bouquets, but if you have a ‘green thumb,’ this company caters to a gardener’s heart. Here, plant-lovers can choose from dozens of plant species for both indoor and outdoor gardens. Similarly, customers can purchase flowers specifically for re-planting and starting a home garden. White Flower Farm also serves as an online store for gardening supplies, providing various wearable gear, pottery, trellises, tools, and popular garden accessories.

Horticulture for Beginners

Whether you’re an aspiring gardener or a lover of decorative houseplants, White Flower Farm offers dozens of growing guides and planting tutorials. Customers can find guides by plant name, search for care instructions, watch how-to videos, and access PDF articles about plant care. Also, each flower and plant product available includes planting details, an in-depth growing guide, and a tutorial video.

Things to Consider

Consumers should know that White Flower Farm only ships their plants once the weather permits, which can prolong the expected arrival date. Each product has a “shipping details” section with further information on when that specific flower or plant is available for shipping, which is based on the climate zone area of the recipient.

Our Selection

Recipient’s photo of “Dracaena Jade Jewel” houseplant from White Flower Farm/Consumersadvocate.org

We ordered the “Dracaena Jade Jewel” houseplant for $29. Although its arrival date wasn’t confirmed due to winter weather conditions, the plant was door-delivered to our recipient in Bowie, MD, within a week. She said the plant was in perfect condition and was easy to remove from its package.

Our Research

Further Insight Into Our Methodology

Today, you can buy flowers from almost anywhere: a supermarket, a gas station, and if you’re in a busy metropolitan area, even a sidewalk vendor. Of course, all of these are convenient locations for a quick pick up, but what if the person you’re buying them for lives far away? What if they’re in a different state or overseas? The best option would be to order flowers to be delivered. The question now is, from where?

We originally thought flower delivery was a simple process, thinking of it solely from the perspective of the consumer. You just search online for an eye-catching floral arrangement, order it, and wait for your loved one to call you thanking for their gift, right? Not quite. A lot of work goes into creating the perfect bouquet, especially one that will last long enough for the recipient to enjoy it. Not a lot of flower delivery companies can make that commitment.

So, we dug deeper.

We spent four weeks researching, comparing, and reading through dozens of customer testimonials for 21 flower delivery companies. From there, we weeded out a few more by analyzing the following key features:

Orders & Delivery Process

Many companies say they have quality flowers and offer on-time deliveries, but the best way to verify the truth of those claims is by putting them to the test. When we ordered our flowers, we made an effort to choose recipients in remote areas, since the majority of delivery companies generally cater to popular cities such as Miami and New York.

All of the companies provided order tracking software and sent confirmation receipts for both shipment and delivery via email or text message. We were able to order from all but one of the companies listed in our top choices, all of which delivered on time for our recipients' evaluations.

The company we couldn’t order from had its customer service department respond to our concern immediately and quickly discovered the issue: our geographical restriction. Its online checkout page is programmed to operate only within the continental U.S., and since our office headquarters are in Puerto Rico, it wouldn't work for us. Still, we decided that the company’s dedicated customer support team was enough reason to keep it as one of our top picks.

Pricing

A floral arrangement's price is ultimately predicated on its value. Since flowers are highly perishable, their freshness and quality generally depend on where they've been sourced. Flowers from greenhouse gardens last the longest but may fall short when it comes to their aroma. In-season blooms are seasonal plants and flowers that are usually shipped in for the florist from local growers, and their quality can be spotty, depending on the producer. Locally sourced flowers tend to be the most reliable source because blossoms tend to smell sweeter, fresher, and last longer, as compared to those from other sources.

We also learned that pricing is determined by care and handling services, and can fluctuate due to holidays, seasonal availability, and professional customization options. Additionally, popular flowers such as roses and tulips will cost more than others, primarily due to their high demand and limited harvest time.

With that said, we analyzed the costs of bouquets and arrangements by their available sizes, as well as their shipping and services fees as a whole.

Additional Services

What romantic rose bouquet isn’t upgraded if paired with a box of chocolates? How many “get well soon” flowers have you seen without a vase? Companies that cater to flower shoppers know that they can’t just stop at flowers. When searching for additional gifts and services, we considered the accessories most used during holidays and special occasions. This included balloons, stuffed animals, candles, wine, and baked goods. Some flower delivery companies went the extra mile, offering customized gift basket arrangements and even home decor items. While this was a plus, we focused on those that offered complimentary items, such as vases and cards.

Flower Selection

Though it comes down to the customer’s personal preference and taste, there must be a variety of options to help make that decision. We preferred companies with a diverse selection of flowers, plant species, and style options:

  • Cut flowers- gardenias, daisies, roses, sunflowers, etc.
  • Bedding plants- marigolds, petunias, perennials, etc.
  • Potted flowering plants- tulips, lilies, hydrangeas, etc.
  • Foliage plants- leafy plants generally grown indoors
  • Custom Arrangements- mixed and assembled in a vase or basket

Helpful information about Flower Delivery

Flower deliveries pre-date Cupid’s day of love. Rooted in Turkish traditions and later adopted by Victorian Brits, floriography—the language of flowers—was used as a means of coded communication. According to Lapham’s Quarterly, a history magazine, flowers were used to craft complex messages, where delivery of a bouquet required a thorough study of floral dictionaries. A deep crimson rose bouquet back then symbolized mourning, far from the love and passion it represents today.

Flash forward a couple of centuries and the emotional connection between flowers and humans is still prevalent. Today, cut flowers are billion-dollar industry. Flower deliveries aren’t just for Valentine’s and Mother’s Day. Think back on the weddings, funerals, birthdays, baby showers, and other special events you’ve attended. Flowers are used more often than you think, and a lot of work goes into preparing them each day.

Let’s take a look at what happens, behind the scenes, when we order a flower delivery:

Petal to the Metal: “A Flower’s Journey”

Grass Roots

Floriculture, the cultivation of flowers, is more than just planting a seed and watering the soil. Dr. John Dole, PhD., a horticulturist and college professor, will tell you a lot of sweat and hard work go into growing and harvesting farm flowers.

With cut flowers, the flower and the foliage have to look good,” Dr. Dole explained, “The U.S. has done too good of a job of defining the meaning of ‘quality.’ We market and want flawless products, and there’s a cost to providing that.

One of his college courses, Greenhouse Management, teaches everything about growing plants in a controlled environment, which is heavily relied upon in the cut flower industry. “What’s nice about a greenhouse environment,” Dole stated, “is that you have a lot of control over all the various factors, such as light, temperature, and water. The drawback, however, is that you have to learn how to change and adjust them.”

Nip it in the Bud

Dr. Dole, who is also the associate dean and director of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at NC State University, helped put to rest some common misconceptions about cut flower care. “A lot of people think that flower food isn’t needed, which is not true,” he pointed out. “I’ve read post-harvest solutions that say to use aspirin in a vase of water, but aspirin doesn’t do anything.” He went on to explain that the do-it-yourself trend of creating flower food is possible, but that it's rare for the average person to get the proportions right. Dole’s solution? Just use the little packets of flower food from the retailer.

Every Rose Has Its Thorn

How should one go about ordering flowers online? Not everyone is a “flower” person or has an eye for aesthetics. We spoke with Leanne Kesler, professional floral designer, and director of the Floral Design Institute, who suggested shoppers take advantage of the sorting features on the flower company’s website. “Use those that allow you to sort by color and season, to curate the flower you’re looking for,” she advised, “If it’s hard to figure out what to buy, it’s not fun anymore.

Kesler, who has been in the floral industry for over 40 years, has a knack for floral artistry. Shoppers considering customized flower arrangements are likely to get their money’s worth:

Instead of seeing buckets of flowers, they see a finished, three-dimensional design. A floral designer can visualize where they’re going. This can range from crafting a simple arrangement to designing an elaborate event.

With these notes in mind, we’ve put together a list of things to consider before using a flower delivery service:

  1. Identify the occasion or reason - Is it a birthday or a special holiday? Is the person a significant other or an acquaintance? Are you buying flowers for yourself?

  2. Take the location and delivery aspects into account - Where does the recipient live? Do you plan to have the flowers delivered the same day or the next day?

  3. Review the customization or additional gift options - Is it a bargain to add a unique flair or teddy bear on the side?

  4. Understand eco-friendly certifications - Do you care about where and how the flower was sourced? This ranges from ethical labor to organic farming practices.

Sustainable Flowers

When you think about buying a bouquet for a loved one, one major thing that doesn’t receive much attention is the effect consumerism has on climate change. Unfortunately, crop and plant cultivation are not exempt from that list. The average person doesn’t realize how far flowers are traveling. Debra Prinzing, an advocate of American-grown flowers, writer, and award-winning author of Slow Flowers, informed us that imported flowers are the backbone of the U.S. floral industry. “They represent nearly 80 percent of cut flowers sold in our country,” she stated. So, how exactly does this affect the environment? It’s time to discuss this deep-rooted issue.

Negative Impacts of Flower Industry

Prinzing continued her explanation by helping us visualize how online shopping works: “When someone orders something as simple as a toothbrush online, a truck will pick it up from a warehouse to deliver it. Imagine that happening for every item purchased online, every day, multiple times a day.” She explained that flower deliveries are no different. Consumers should understand the carbon footprint left by these transportation methods.

It might be cheap for our pockets, but it’s not cheap for the environment.

Pesticides and insecticides are sprayed on flowers to prevent animals and insects from destroying them, but many of those sprays may contain harmful chemicals not only for the soil but for our health as well. Understanding that food and plant regulations in other countries aren’t the same as those of the U.S., imported flowers may contain more than meets the eye.

Eco-friendly and Ethical Solutions

Prinzing, who is also known for creating the Slow Flower movement, shared with us why she began the organization. The term “slow flowers,” she explained, refers to a sustainable, mindful ethos in how flowers are grown. Her mission is to connect flower consumers and professionals in the floral industry with local organic farmers, thereby helping to reduce both the transportation footprint and the use of chemical products. But, how do you know if a flower farmer is practicing sustainable farming methods? Through ethical certifications.

The Rainforest Alliance (RA), an international non-governmental organization, works for the conservation and protection of the planet’s biodiversity. As one of the most well-known ethical certifications, RA audits farming practices on close to 100 criteria, including water quality, soil health, banned pesticides, native vegetation, as well as child labor restrictions and worker rights to a living wage.

We interviewed Jason Davignon, a representative of RA for over 10 years, who explained that consumers should feel confident when they see the RA’s frog seal on a product:  “If you see a bouquet with our logo on it, those farms are taking extra steps and measures to make sure the landscape is treated sustainably, and also the producers and workers are treated fairly.”

Davignon said that this positive trend is raising awareness and that there’s been an increase in the number of farmers participating in the RA program. “We’re trying to help farmers and producers adapt to the ever-changing environment, while also trying to input environmental requirements to mitigate climate change. We call it ‘climate-smart agriculture.’”

In addition to RA, two other ethical certifications that flower consumers can look for are the Fair Trade Certification and VeriFlora Certification. “It’s not the only solution to environmental and social issues,” Davignon stated, “but it can be part of the greater solution.”

FAQs About Flower Delivery

How long do flowers last?

You should expect a well-made bouquet to last a week. While some flower species have a short life, some that are well-taken care of can last up to three weeks. According to Dr. John Dole, if you’re buying from a florist, local grower, or a supermarket, they should last for several days. If the bouquet only lasts a day or two, you should get your money back.

To help preserve your flowers, re-cut the stems with nice scissors and fill the vase with the right amount of water and flower food. Before the flower food is fully absorbed, replace the old water with fresh water. The first fill must have the flower food in it since that helps the flowers last longer.

Why are flowers imported?

The on-going demand for flowers surpasses the speed of domestic production. Also, controlled greenhouse environments in the U.S. can house several flower species, but not all of them. This is one of the reasons the majority of imported flowers come from Colombia and Ecuador, two countries that have the climate and soil for year-round flower cultivation, and at a cheaper rate.

What’s the difference between a bouquet and an arrangement?

Often used interchangeably, a bouquet is a collection of loose flower stems that can be placed in a vase or wrapped in tissue for a more casual look. An arrangement, on the other hand, is generally more formalized, where the flowers are designed in something, such as a basket. For example, at a wedding, the bride may carry a bouquet, that is, gathered flowers wrapped together. The wedding venue, however, may have floral arrangements, or designs, as decor atop each dining table.

Can I order flowers on Amazon?

Amazon has partnerships with some flower delivery companies, including KaBloom and Benchmark Bouquets, where you can order delivery directly through your Amazon account. Keep in mind, however, that these companies are only available via Amazon and may be subject to Amazon’s customer service and policies, not the flower delivery company directly.
