AirCare covers travelers with situations related to their flights.

It includes coverage for flight cancellations and delays, as well as for mishandled baggage.

This policy is targeted at people who aren't concerned about problems that may arise at their destination, but want to be protected in case something goes wrong with their flight.

The ExactCare policy which comes in three levels of coverage: ExactCare, ExactCare Value, and ExactCare Extra.

These policies include flight-related insurance, medical expense and accidental death and disability coverage, barring some restrictions depending on the level of coverage.

This option is aimed at travelers who want a comprehensive policy that covers trip cancellations and medical emergencies.

Optional coverages are available for collisions involving a rental car.

Consumers may also opt to increase the medical expense and emergency evacuation coverage limits, and can also add an option that permits them to cancel their trip for any reason.

I had a very pleasant experience with Berkshire Hatahaway. I won't go into details, but we found that some insurance we had purchased did not provide the coverage we thought it did. They offered us a full refund.

Horrible customer service!!! I bought the Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection due to 2 uncertainties: COVID-19 and my wife's unpredictable work schedule. One month before our travel date, my wife's employer requested she reschedule her vacation due to urgent work matters aggravated by COVID-19. When I called Berkshire Hathaway customer service to explore the options of using my travel insurance due to employment conflict, something clearly advertised as protected by the Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection, the guy I talked to was rude, curt, unprofessional and not helpful at all. Horrible and expensive. The "cancellation coverage" is false & fraudulent in their advertisement. They denied my claim after my tour was cancelled due to Covid. All my transportation was either cancelled or changed, yet they denied my claim because "it wasn't covering Covid cancellations"! On top of that, the Tin Leg (affiliate program) TOLD me to cancel all my transportation prior to submitting my claim, then they denied it, leaving without transportation tickets to use at a different time or as a credit.... scammers in every sense... DO NOT USE Berkshire Hathaway, AKA SquareMouth & AKA Tin Leg Insurance companys!

they are a scam. what they have on their website is not what you are actually getting. they will pay zero. they will hide information regarding their policy which is totally different from their website policy information. be aware

If you are concerned about having coverage and being able to cancel your trip if terrorism occurs in the country you are visiting prior to your trip, then read your policy from Berkshire Hathaway CAREFULLY! I paid $89 to cover my trip to London. Terrorism occurred 2 days prior to my departure and based on State Department warnings and elevated threat levels in the UK, I decided to cancel my trip. When I called BHTP to discuss my options, I was told "NY State didn't accept coverage for terrorism" and "did I read my policy carefully?" What?!?
